    Feature Apps: Multi-vendor Marketplace for Shopify

    Multivendor Marketplace is an ultimate tool to convert your shop into a fully-functioning marketplace. Through this, you can add sellers to your online store and keep track of their sales.

    Within this app, we have introduced numerous “Feature Apps” that provide additional benefits to the admin as well as to the sellers. These feature apps are divided into multiple categories as per their functionalities. 

    As soon as you install the app, you need to visit the “Feature Apps” section of your store and activate it from your end. On the upper right corner of the admin dashboard, you will get the “three dots”. You can click on it to visit the “Feature Apps” section of the app.

    Let’s go through the Multivendor Marketplace Feature Apps one by one based on the categories.

    Marketplace Shipping Add-Ons

    Here is the list of all the shipping feature apps available for the marketplace:-

    SHIPPING

    Multivendor Marketplace Shipping enables admin to configure the shipping method from his end for the seller and the sellers will configure the shipping methods on the basis of the price and weight of the product.

    This feature also allows sellers to add shipping range for products, add countries, enable/disable states as well as shipping methods from his end.

    If you want to get access to this shipping feature, you need to choose the Shopify store plan which supports the “Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping”.

    Important Note:- This Shipping feature is available in the Gold Plan of the Multivendor App.

    There is no need to pay an additional charge to install this feature app.

    USPS Shipping

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace USPS Shipping feature is now integrated with stamp.com. This feature helps admin to allow his/her sellers to ship their products using USPS. Also, You can allow your sellers to generate Shipping Labels automatically for the fulfilled orders using Stamp.

    Please Note:- It is necessary for admin to have an account on Stamp.com and these stamp details further help the admin to configure USPS details.

    This feature app costs $10 USD per month over and above your current Multivendor plan.

    Important Note:- To make the feature app work, the admin needs to choose the Shopify Store Plan which supports “Real-Time Carrier Calculated Shipping”.

    ECOM EXPRESS SHIPPING

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Ecom Express Shipping feature allows both admin and seller to manage the fulfillment.

    Once the customer places an order, the seller can directly fulfill it from the backend with this feature app.

    If the order is fulfilled, the seller can “Edit Tracking” as well as set the delivery status of the order.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 10 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    CANADA POST SHIPPING

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace “Canada Post Shipping” feature app is here.

    It helps Canada sellers to ship their products worldwide. Sellers can also generate “Shipping Labels” from their accounts on the Multivendor app.

    Important Note:- To make this Canada Post feature work, it is mandatory to choose the Shopify store plan which supports the “Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping”.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 10 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    STORE PICK UP

    Using Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Store Pickup feature app, admin can allow his sellers to provide an order pickup option to the customers. Through this, customers can pick up their ordered products from the seller’s store and avoid shipping rates.

    Once the admin enables this feature on his/her end, the seller can enable the store pickup option that will be applicable to all Seller’s products. Seller will provide his store address as the “Store Pickup Address”.

    This feature app is at the monthly charge of $10 USD/month over and above your current Multivendor plan.

    AIRSPEED SHIPPING

    We came up with a new feature app named “AirSpeed Shipping” to manage fulfillment on a priority basis. This feature app comes with an option to Notify the Courier about the prepared order to be shipped to the customers.

    Using this feature app, both admin and sellers can notify the courier about the customer’s order from their respective panels. Accordingly, sellers will manage the fulfillment of their seller panels and generate shipping labels for the fulfilled orders.

    This feature App comes with a charge of $10 USD/month over and above your current multivendor plan.

    AUSTRALIA POST SHIPPING

    Australia Post, a government-owned corporation known to provide postal services in Australia. Now, we have integrated it with the Multi-vendor Marketplace app for Shopify.

    Presenting Australia Post Feature app using which admin can allow the sellers to deliver their shipment via Australia Post shipment method and can also Generate Shipping Labels from the app.

    Please Note:- “Australia Post Shipping Feature is available only in the Multivendor PRO ($45/month) Plan + You need to enable the “Shipping” Feature App which is FREE of cost.”

    This feature will have an additional charge of USD 10 per month over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Note:- To make Australia Post shipping feature work, you need to choose the Shopify store plan that supports the “Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping”.

    UPS

    Multi-vendor Marketplace app has come up with the UPS feature app to manage product shipping, track the packages & print shipping labels through the United Parcel Service (UPS).

    You can now visit the feature app section and enable the “UPS” feature app to let the sellers ship their products through UPS.

    For this, you need to have a UPS account as you need your account details to configure UPS shipping in the app. In addition to it, you can allow sellers to generate shipping labels of fulfilled orders through UPS.

    This feature of the Multivendor app will charge you an additional amount of $10 USD per month over and above your current Multivendor plan.

    To make UPS shipping feature work, you need to choose the Shopify store plan which supports the “Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping”.

    Important Note:- “UPS Feature is available only in the Multivendor PRO ($45/month) Plan + You need to enable the “Shipping” Feature App which is FREE of cost.”

    FedEx SHIPPING

    FedEx Corporation is an American multinational courier delivery service.

    Using this featured app, the merchants can enable shipment through FedEx. Moreover, he can allow US sellers to automatically generate shipping labels.

    FedEx feature app is available only with the Multivendor PRO Plan ($45/month). Moreover, you need to enable the Shipping add-on (free) from feature apps section of the app.

    CHARGES: This feature will have an additional charge of USD 10 per month over & above your current MVM plan.

    NOTE: Above all, access to Shipping requires your Shopify store to be on the plan that supports Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping.

    Currently, the FedEx Shipping feature app will only work for the US Merchants.

    VAMASHIP

    Vamaship is a SaaS enabled logistics marketplace. Besides, it facilitates shipping via air, ocean, and surface to over 200 countries and 26,000 pin codes within India.

    Using this featured app, the merchants can enable shipment through Vamaship. Moreover, he can automatically generate shipping labels for the same.

    Vamaship feature app is available only with the Multivendor PRO Plan ($45/month). Moreover, you need to enable the Shipping add-on (free) from feature apps section of the app.

    CHARGES: This feature will have an additional charge of USD 10 per month over & above your current MVM plan.

    NOTE: Above all, access to Shipping requires your Shopify store to be on the plan that supports Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping.

    BLUEDART

    Blue Dart is integrated with the very popular Multi-vendor Marketplace App for Shopify. So, you can now allow sellers to fulfill orders via Blue Dart fulfillment & courier delivery services. Additionally, allow sellers to generate shipping labels for fulfilled orders.

    This feature of the Multivendor app will charge you a minimal amount of $10 per month over and above your current Multivendor plan.

    Note:- The Split Cart feature of the app is compatible with this shipping feature app.

    Points to be Noted

    • “Blue Dart Feature is available only in the Multivendor PRO ($45/month) Plan + You need to enable the “Shipping” Feature App which is FREE of cost.”
    • Please make sure that it is necessary for admin to have an account on Blue Dart. These Blue Dart account details will help the admin to configure settings in the app.
    • Please Note:- To make this feature work, you need to choose the Shopify store plan which supports the “Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping”.
    • Make the Contact Number, a mandatory field for the customers for checkout.

    SHIPSTATION

    ShipStation feature app allows you to ship your goods via multiple carrier shipping methods & generate shipping labels of the orders.

    NOTE:- ShipStation feature app is available only with the Multivendor Pro Plan ($45/month). Moreover, you need to enable the Shipping add-on (free) from the ‘feature apps’ section of the app.
    Above all, access to Shipping requires your Shopify store to be on the plan that supports Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping.

    MARKETPLACE SELLER ADD-ONS

    Here is the list of all the seller add-ons available for the marketplace:-

    ASK A QUESTION

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Ask a Question feature app.

    It enables the customers to ask questions related to the product directly with the seller of that product even before purchasing the product.

    Both admin and seller can answer the question asked by the customer. Admin can view the whole conversation of Seller and buyer.

    Once you enable this feature, you will add 15 USD per month over and above your current Multivendor plan.

    Seller Membership

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Seller Membership feature.

    It enables the store owner to create plans and seller needs to subscribe the plan if he/she wants to publish his/her products in the shopify store of the admin.

    Admin will charge this membership fee from his seller within this feature app.

    To get this feature installed in your Multivendor app, click on enable button in “Feature Apps” section. Once clicked, you need to pay the monthly charge of USD 25 over and above your current Multivendor plan.

    Social Network Tabs

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace “Social Network Tabs” feature enables your seller to connect their profile pages with their own social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc in one tab.

    To enable this feature, admin needs to pay the monthly fee of USD 5 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Create An App For Your Sellers

    This feature “Create an app for your Seller” enables the admin to create an individual app for your store.

    Once you get this app installed on your store, your seller will be able to sync their products and orders (if they too have their Shopify store) to your store automatically.

    Thus, the inventory of the seller Shopify store can now be synced to the admin Shopify store.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 40 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Seller Vacation App

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Seller Vacation App is here to provide the information to the admin as well as to the buyer about the unavailability of the seller so that they can manage the purchase accordingly.

    If the seller is unavailable to fulfill the order, he can either disable all his products or he can continue selling with a message display for the customers.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 5 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    MARKETPLACE PRODUCT ADD-ONS

    Here is the list of all the product add-ons available for the marketplace:-

    Global Product

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Global Product feature is here.

    It enables the store owner to create “Global Product” on his/her end. These global products will be visible to the sellers in the Global Product Section. The seller can sell that product just by clicking “Sell this Product” button.

    Admin can view the detail of the sellers who has sold his global product.

    Admin can enable this feature with an additional charge of USD 15 per month over and above your selected Multivendor plan.

    Favorite Product/Seller

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Favorite Product/Seller.

    Through this feature you can have your customers like your seller as well as your Products.

    Also, the customer will get all the updates through email related to his liked seller whenever the seller adds any new product or make changes in the existing product.

    Once you enable this feature, it will cost you 5 USD per month in addition to your current multivendor plan.

    Stock Management

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Stock Management feature enables the admin to manage the product stock from seller.

    Here, the admin can track the shipment while sellers will have the choice to select who will fulfill the order. Seller will send the fulfillment request for the same and the admin can either accept or reject the offer.

    Once you enable this feature, you will add 10 USD per month over and above your current Multivendor plan.

    Make An Offer

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace “Make an Offer” feature app is here.

    Once you enable this feature, you can get the request quotes from the customer on some or all product pages of your store. Thus, you can contact your customer and pursue them for purchase.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 10 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Product Feed

    With the help of Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Product Feed app, merchant can add products from different ecommerce platform into Shopify store.

    Admin can enable this feature with an additional charge of USD 10 per month over and above your selected Multivendor plan.

    Indian GST

    We have introduced an “Indian GST” module in Shopify Multivendor Marketplace app. This feature enables the seller to declare the product price inclusive of GST along with the other taxes.

    Seller can add GST details from his end which will reflect in the “Seller to customer” invoice section of the admin panel.

    Important Note:– Once you enable this feature, no taxes can be levied at checkout. The seller needs to enter the product price inclusive of GST and other taxes.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 5 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Product Expiry

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace “Product Expiry” feature app is here. You can enable this feature to set an expiry date on products while creating it.

    The product gets expired on the set date and will no longer available on the frontend.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 5 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Slot Pricing

    Now Onwards, using Multivendor Marketplace App, admin can allow their sellers to add different product prices for different customers on the basis of Customer Tags. Admin can set a quantity range and add price for each of these ranges while adding or editing any product.

    NOTE:- Slot Pricing Feature App works only in case of Normal Products.

    To get this app, admin needs to approve the charge of $10 USD per month over and above the current Multivendor Plan.

    Booking Product

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Booking Product.

    This feature enables both admin and the seller to present their product on frontend on the basis of booking. Both can create “booking product” and set the date slot for them.

    Customer can request for booking which can be either confirmed or cancelled by the seller.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 5 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Daily Deals

    Multivendor Marketplace for Shopify- Daily Deals will now allow the Admin to grant permission to Sellers so that they can also add deals on their products. Moreover, this is a great way to draw customers and increase sales of your shop.

    Artist Product Design

    Till now, the Admin was able to create/allow Sellers on his Multivendor Marketplace for Shopify, but now with the new Multivendor Marketplace feature app, Artist Product Design, Admin can create/add Artists on his store and let them add designs for the products to sell.

    If the Admin wants to sell products with designs from different Artists then he can do so by using this featured app.

    This app comes at a cost of $10.00 per month.

    Woocommerce Connector

    Here is another feature app in the Multivendor App named WooCommerce Connector using which You as a Store Owner can allow your Sellers to sync their WooCommerce Store’s products with your Shopify Store. If your sellers have their online store on WooCommerce then they can use this app to sync their products.

    To get this app on your store, You need to agree with the charge of $25 USD per month over and above your current Multivendor Plan.

    Shopify Magento Connector

    We have now introduced the most awaited feature app i.e. Shopify-Magento Connector using which you as a store owner can allow your sellers to connect their Magento stores with admin’s Shopify store. Sellers can auto-sync their Magento store’s products with Shopify or import the products from Magento via SKU’s CSV file.

    To get this feature app, admin needs to approve the charge of $25 USD over and above your current Multivendor plan.

    You might have heard about Etsy, a well-known online global marketplace focused in selling specialized handmade goods and vintage items. So, if Your registered sellers have their stores on Etsy too and they want their Etsy store’s products to be sold on admin’s marketplace then this can be accomplished using Etsy Connector APP.

    MARKETPLACE PAYMENTS ADD-ONS

    Here is the list of all the payment add-ons available for the marketplace:-

    Stripe Connect

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace “Stripe Connect” feature app is here.

    Through this app, the amount paid by the customer will automatically get transferred into the respective account of the admin and the seller as per the share configured.

    You can use this feature both by using Shopify Checkout as well as using our own checkout feature.

    Important Note:- It is mandatory for both admin and the seller to select marketplace shipping while creating any product. So, it’s better to select marketplace shipping a default option.

    Also, the customer needs to select marketplace shipping at checkout page.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 10 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    PayPal Adaptive

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace PayPal Adaptive feature app is here to manage payment within the app. Through this payment mode, once the customer pays an amount for the order it will automatically get transferred into the respective account of the admin and seller as per their share is configured on the basis of commission.

    And to make this feature work, both Admin and seller need to have a business PayPal account.

    Admin can use this feature using Shopify checkout as well as Multivendor checkout feature.

    Please Note:- To make this feature work, you need to select “Marketplace Shipping” as the default option if you are using Multivendor checkout feature.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 10 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    MARKETPLACE MISCELLANEOUS ADD-ONS

    Here is the list of all the miscellaneous add-ons available for the marketplace:-

    SMS ALERT

    In order to send the automated message to the admin and the seller for newly placed orders, you can now integrate your multivendor app with “Clockwork SMS Tool”.

    This will notify the seller about the new order simply via SMS.

    You just need to enable the “SMS Alert” feature from the “Feature Apps” section and agree to pay the monthly charge of 5 USD over and above your Multivendor plan.

    Note:- To make this feature work on your store, you need to have a clockwork account. Select the Pricing Plan and get this additional benefit.

    Weglot Translation

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace App has now integrated with Weglot Translation Tool. Through this, you can translate your multivendor app into multiple languages as per the Weglot Translation Plans.

    This feature app is free of cost but you need to choose a Weglot plan which is chargeable.

    Admin will have the authority to avail multiple language options only to himself, or to the seller or both.

    Multivendor API

    With this Shopify Multivendor Marketplace API feature, admin can access the API (Application Programming Interface) which helps him building sync and get the details about the activities of eCommerce store.

    Once you enable this feature, it will cost you 15 USD per month in addition to your current multivendor plan.

    Seller Staff

    Through this Seller Staff feature app, the seller can add staff and add permission to them so that the staff can manage the activities on the seller panel.

    Only admin can enable his seller to add staff and allow him to manage activities on behalf of the seller.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of 10 USD over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Admin Staff

    Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Admin Staff feature app enables the store owner to add staff members and assign different permissions to them in order to manage activities on the admin panel.

    Admin will provide a public URL to his staff from where the staff can log in to the admin’s account to manage permitted activities. The staff will get all the login credentials via mail.

    This feature has an additional monthly charge of USD 10 over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Multi Location Inventory

    With this featured app, both merchants and sellers can track inventory on multiple locations and manage orders accordingly. The merchant first needs to “Enable Inventory at Locations” and add various locations from the Shopify store backend.

    There is no need to pay an additional charge to install this featured app as it is just Free of Cost.

    Split Cart

     Multivendor Marketplace module has come up with a featured app named Split Cart. It helps your buyers to have split carts during the checkout process. This means that when the buyers will add multiple seller’s products to their cart, their cart will get split vendor-wise i.e. each cart will have a separate seller’s products.

    Thus, buyers will have different products from various sellers in their cart but only one cart having single seller’s products will be validated at a time during checkout.

    With this feature, the admin will have an easily manageable order process and thus, can have the separate orders of each seller’s products.

    You can get the Split Cart feature app simply by paying an amount of $14 per month over and above your current multivendor plan.

    Customer Order Management

    You might be using the Multi-vendor Marketplace app on your Shopify store. Till now, your customers had no option to manage orders on their own once they purchase any seller’s products. Keeping this in mind, we have integrated the Customer Order Management App in the Multi-vendor Marketplace App.

    Now, you can allow sellers to let customers manage orders. Sellers, on the other hand, update the order status from their respective seller panels.

    You can enable the Customer Order Management Configuration tab from the COM Configuration & activate the option for customers to manage orders of their respective seller’s products.

    Thus, customers can easily raise RMA (Return, Cancel or Exchange) request, invoice requests, request the admin to change their shipping address, and reorder their previous purchase. Accordingly, the status will be updated in the app.

    The app is FREE of cost but you have to pay for the integration that will cost you $15 USD/month over & above your current Multi-vendor App plan.

    Hyperlocal Marketplace

    Multi-Vendor Marketplace for Shopify is here with another feature app called Hyperlocal Marketplace.

    In a hyperlocal marketplace, the merchant can restrict their service area to a particular geographical region. Since the hyperlocal ecosystem is based on the ‘near me’ concept, this makes the delivery of services/goods in a very short span of time.

    The hyperlocal marketplace uses the geographical location detector for detecting the current location of the customer. It further scans the nearest registered service providers (vendors). Therefore, making the services a faster solution in terms of delivery!
