    Ecom Express Shipping: Multivendor Marketplace App for Shopify

    Ecom Express is one of the leading end-to-end logistics solutions for the express delivery services to eCommerce Industries.

    We are here with another Multivendor Marketplace App for Shopify called Ecom Express Shipping for the order fulfillment service. This feature will help both the admin and the seller to manage the fulfillment in the simplest possible way.

    Once the customer places an order, the sellers will manage the fulfillment from their respective seller panels. While fulfilling an order, the seller will have the option to cancel the order with a reason.

    The admin will be responsible to add the reason for the cancellation of orders from his admin panel.

    You can configure the shipping charges of the product with the same shipping flow procedure explained in Multivendor Marketplace Shipping. The order fulfillment process will be more simple now with the use of the Ecom Express Shipping service.

    Important Note:- “Ecom Express Shipping Feature is available only in the Multivendor PRO ($45/month) Plan + You need to enable the “Shipping” Feature App which is FREE of cost.”

    Please Note:- To make Ecom Express shipping feature work, you need to choose the Shopify store plan which supports the “Real-Time Carrier-Calculated Shipping”.

    Let’s understand its workflow in detail.

    Workflow of Ecom Express Shipping feature

    To enable this Ecom Express Shipping feature of the Multivendor app, just click on the three dots present on the upper right corner of the dashboard.

    There, you will get “Feature Apps“. Click on it and scroll down to get the “Ecom Express Shipping” featured app.

    Now, tap the enable button and proceed further to accept the payment for this feature.

    Once you click on approve charges, you will add up $10 per month additionally in your current Multivendor Marketplace plan.

    Once you pay for the app, two new menus will appear in the configuration section of the admin panel. Ecom Express Configuration and Cancel Reason Configuration.

    Let us understand them one by one.

    Ecom Express Configuration

    As soon as you enable the feature app, two new menus get added to the configuration menu of the app.

    To configure the Ecom Express Shipping, the admin will enter his own Ecom shipping details such as Ecom ID and Ecom password.

    PLEASE NOTE:- To get the Ecom User ID and Password, you need to contact Ecom Express.

    Cancel Reason Configuration

    Here, you can add the reason for the cancellation of the order. Now, once a seller proceeds to fulfill an order from his/her seller panel, he/she can anytime cancel the order if required. Just the seller needs to select the reason for the order cancellation.

    Once you click the “Add Cancel Button”, a page appears. There, you can add or edit the cancel reasons as well as enable or disable it accordingly. If you disable the order cancel reason, it will not be visible to the seller while canceling an order.

    Admin can also view, edit or delete the existing order cancel reason from the action menu.

    Dashboard>>Configuration>>Cancel Reason Configuration>>Click Action (in order cancel reason section)>>There, you can view,edit or delete the reason for order cancellation.

    Seller Panel

    Once a customer places an order, the seller can use this Ecom shipping feature to fulfill the customer order. To do so, the seller needs to visit the order section of the Multivendor app where he can view the order details from the action menu.

    Dashboard of seller panel>>Orders>>Orders Listing>>Click view (in Action menu).

    Now, clicking the Fulfill/Cancel button, the seller will get the option to choose whether he/she wants to confirm or cancel the order.

    If the seller clicks the confirm button, the order gets confirmed.

    But if he chooses to cancel the order he will get an option to select the reason for order cancellation.
    NOTE:- The admin will set the reason for cancellation and he can enable or disable it as per his choice.

    The customer will get the notification for the same.

    Now, as the seller clicks the save button after canceling the order, the product details will appear (as shown in the screenshot).

    FULFILLMENT DETAILS

    Once the seller confirms the order and fulfills it on his end (order status shows “fulfilled” and payment status is “paid”), there will be a fulfillment detail section with two buttons right (below the order detail page).

    “Edit Tracking” and “Enter Delivery Details”.

    Here, you will have the fulfillment details of the product order.

    Click the “Edit Tracking” button to make the change in the the tracking number or shipping method of the order.

    Click the “Enter Delivery Details” button to view the number of fulfilled products.

    You can also set the delivery status to “Delivered” from this button.

    That is how the Ecom Express Shipping feature app works to manage the order fulfillment in a more efficient way.
