Multivendor Marketplace app for Shopify: Favorite Product/Seller- New Theme

Here’s presenting an additional feature in our Multivendor Marketplace app for Shopify: Favorite Product/Seller through which customer gets an option to like products as well as sellers.

Features

• Admin can see the list of all the sellers liked by customers in the “sellers” section of the app.
• Admin can see the list of all the products liked by customers in the “Products” section of the app.
• Sellers can too see the list of all the customers who liked their profile page in the “Liked customer” section of their account in a multivendor marketplace app.
• Customers can see the list of their Favorite Products and Sellers from “My Account” section of their Shopify store
• Customers will also receive the email notification for their favorite seller whenever they will add any new products or make any changes in the existing products. They can also see the “number of likes” on their favorite products as well as on their favorite sellers.

Firstly visit the “Feature Apps” section by clicking the (…) three dots in the main menu of your app.

Now Enable the ” Favorite Product/Seller” Feature.

Once you will click on the “Enable button” then you need to agree on an additional charge of USD 5 per month which are over and above your current multivendor marketplace plan.

Now To display the Favorite button on the “Seller profile page”, “Products Page” and on Customer’s account page,

You need to copy the below-given codes and paste it in the respective .liquid files of your Shopify store.

Copy the below code and paste it into the ‘product.liquid’ template to display the “Favorite button” on Seller Products.

Copy the below code and paste it into the ‘customers/account.liquid’ template to display Favorite button on the customer account page

Copy following code and paste into main-product.liquid template to display the “favorite” seller button on seller products.

Copy following code and paste into main-collection-product-grid.liquid template to display the “favorite” seller button on seller collection.

Customers can like the product on the seller products page and can also view the number of likes on that product.

Customers can like the seller from the “seller profile page”.

Favorite Product/Seller

Customers can like the sellers’ shop on the Seller’s Product Page.

Additionally, the sellers’ shop can also be liked by customers on the Seller’s Collection Page.

Customers can also view the list of their liked products and liked sellers from the “My Account” section of the Shopify store.

Moreover, this allows them to easily access and manage their favorite products and sellers in one place.

Admin can see the list of all the sellers liked by customers in the multivendor marketplace app.

Sellers >> favorite sellers >> here you can see the list of all sellers liked by customers as well as the number of likes that sellers received from customers.

Admin can see the list of all the products liked by customers in the multivendor marketplace app.

The seller can too view the number of customers who liked their profile page from their account in the Multivendor marketplace app.

We have added a new feature that sends email notifications with discount codes based on customer favorites.

• If a customer has marked a seller as a favorite, they will also receive an email notification whenever that seller creates any type of discount, along with the applicable discount code.

• If a customer has marked a product as a favorite, they will also receive an email notification whenever a discount is created for that specific product.

We have introduced a new configuration for notifications sent to customers who follow a seller.

This enhancement provides administrators and sellers with greater control over when and how new product notification emails are sent.

1. Admin Configuration

A new configuration has been added to the General Configuration section in the admin panel:

“Allow Seller-Controlled Product Update Notifications”

The configuration works as follows:

• By default, this setting is Disabled.
• Once the admin enables this setting, the “Notify to Customer” option will become available to sellers.
• The notification option will be available on the Edit Product page in the seller panel.
• This configuration allows sellers to manually manage notifications sent to customers who follow them.

2. Seller Configuration

Once the admin enables the seller notification control, sellers will then be able to access the following option in their seller panel.

Moreover, this allows them to conveniently manage and send notifications to their followers.

“Notify to Customer”

This option allows sellers to manually send notifications to customers who follow them whenever they want to inform them about a new product.

Additionally, it helps keep customers updated and engaged with the seller’s latest offerings.

This provides sellers with greater flexibility and control over new product notification emails.

3. Notification Behavior

When a seller adds a new product, they can also manually send a notification to customers who follow them.

Furthermore, this feature helps sellers keep their followers informed about their latest product additions.

To send the notification, the seller needs to follow these steps:

Seller Panel → Products → Product Listing → Edit Product → More Actions → Notify to Customer

After clicking “Notify to Customer”, a notification popup will appear.

The popup will allow the seller to:

1. Select the New Product notification type.
2. Add the required notes/message for the customers.
3. Click the “Send Notification” button.

Once the seller clicks “Send Notification,” the notification email will be sent to the customers who follow the seller.
