Multivendor Marketplace for Shopify Clockwork Integration

Due to high demand, Multivendor Marketplace app for Shopify can now be integrated with Clockwork SMS tool for sending automated messages. For newly placed orders to admin as well as to vendors. Intimating about new orders to vendors was only possible via email on Multivendor Marketplace app.
This feature’s integration will notify vendors about the newly placed orders on the marketplace. This integration will add up an additional $5 per month to your existing monthly plan of Multivendor Marketplace app & this additional USD5 per month is separate and over and above the plan chosen by you on clockwork for sending messages.

How to enable Clockwork?

To enable the Multivendor Marketplace Clockwork feature, you have to visit ‘feature app’ section and click on enable in the SMS section of the page to proceed with enabling clockwork.

You have to click on enable button & then you will be redirected to accept the payment plan again of Multivendor Marketplace app, which now will be having the cost of SMS integration added in the per month payment plan.

CONFIGURING CLOCKWORK

Next step after accepting the payment will be to configure this feature. You will view two sections after enabling this feature, i.e.
->SMS GATEWAY SETTING
->SMS SETTING

 

SMS GATEWAY SETTING

From this section, you have to activate Multivendor Marketplace Clockwork feature by clicking on Activate and consequently by entering the API key of clockwork which you have to copy from clockwork app.
 And then enter the API key of clockwork app here and click save,

SMS SETTING

From this section, you can activate the SMS setting of “order notification to admin” and “order notification to vendor”. Click on activate button for both option to activate SMS notification on these events. Click on activate button &  you will be redirected to enter the content of message and sender name.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER 
  • Enter your contact number configured with clockwork by visiting Configuration of Multivendor app and clicking on General Setting.
  • The number should be entered with country code and should start without ‘+’ and ‘0’.
  • The sellers have to enter their contact number in order to receive messages about order by clicking on My Section >>> Edit button >>> Entering contact detail and clicking on Save. The number should be entered with country code and should start without ‘+’ and ‘0’.
  • The number of messages sent will be on the basis of plan selected by you on your Clockwork account.
  • Monthly payment to Clockwork on the basis of plan chosen by you will be separate. And it will be over and above the multivendor app’s plan + SMS integration monthly charges.
