    Multi Wishlists for Shopware 6

    Introduction

    The Multi Wishlists for Shopware 6 module provides an easy way for consumers to create separate wishlists. Consumers can create as many wishlists of their popular products. The Shopware store only allows registered consumers to add their favorite products.

    With the help of this module, the admin can view all the wishlists for each consumer from the Shopware backend. The customer can delete and update the wishlist.

    • The admin can set the number of wishlists a customer can create.
    • The admin can also set the number of products that a customer can add to a wishlist.
    • A customer can create as many wishlists of their favorite products.
    • A customer can add a product from the category as well as a product page.
    • Add the products from the wishlist to the cart.
    • The customers can share the wishlists with their friends or family members through email.
    • Remove the products from the wishlist as per requirement.
    • A consumer can delete and update a wishlist.

    Installation

    Shopware provides two ways to install the plugin to the server.

    1. Using Command
    2. Manual installation

    Installation Using Commands

    Consumers will get a zip folder, then they have to extract the contents of this zip folder on their system. The consumer has Copy the folder WebkulMwl to custom/plugins directory of Shopware6. As shown in the below image:

    Now open the Shopware6 application in the Terminal.

    Run this command to refresh the plugin –

    /bin/console plugin:refresh

    Go to your Shopware installation Root directory and run this command to install then activate the plugin –

    ./bin/console plugin:install --activate

    To clear the cache run this command –

    ./bin/console c:c

    Now refresh the administration.

    Manual Installation

    For the manual installation of the plugin follow the steps as mentioned below:

    1) Extract the zip file of the plugin.

    2) Goto your Shopware 6 installation backend panel and navigate to  Extensions-> My Extensions after that you can find all the installed plugins in it.

    For installing the plugin, the user can click on the Upload Extension button. The user can upload the plugin zip(WebkulMwl) here.

    3) After uploading the plugin zip, the user can see the Extensions in the list.

    4) Now the user can click on the install icon to install the Multi Wish List extension.

    5) After the installation of the extension, the user can click to activate the extension.

    While in the process the admin can see the success message ‘Extension has been activated‘.

    After the installation process and plugin configuration if the Multi Wish List  icon option is not visible then run this command to clear the cache:

    1php bin/console cache:clear

    Configuration

    After the successful installation of the Multi Wishlists for Shopware 6 module, The user can click on the “…” icon for the configuration.

    When you will click on the Config button a new page will open. Here you have to fill in the options.

    Sales channel – Select the sales channel.

    Total number of allowed wishlist – Enter the total number of allowed wishlist

    Total allowed items per wishlist – Enter Total allowed items per wishlist

    Share wishlist – Enable/disable the option to share the wishlist.

    Show wishlist Button on Shopping cart – Enable/disable the option to add button in shopping cart

    Enter the subject for admin – In this add the mail subject.

    Enter the content for admin – Add-in which content mail will be sent.

    After that click on the Save button.

    Shopware backend

    Go to Settings>Extensions> Customers Wishlist. Here you will see the customer’s name.

    After that click on Customer Wishlist.

    When you will click on the view button a new page “User wishlist” opens. Here you will see the wishlist names.

    Shopware Front-end

    Now go to the Shopware store. First of all the customer has to log in to create a wishlist. To create a new wishlist, a customer has to click on the Multi Wish List option on my account.

    Creating Multiple Wishlists

    Now the customer has to click on Create New to for creating a new wishlist.

    The customer has to enter Wishlist Name then need to select the status private or public after that click on Add Wishlist button.

    After creating a wishlist a customer has to add his/her favorite products to that particular wishlist. A customer can add a product to the wishlist from a category page as well as from the search page.

    When the customer clicks on a wishlist button, a block will appear on a web page in which he/she has to select the Multi wish list and then click on Add To Wishlist.

    Note: Product which has been added to a wishlist once, then it cannot be added to the wishlist again.

    On product page you can add the product to product list as shown in below image.

    Manage Wishlists

    Once the wishlists have been created, the customer can update and delete the wishlists.

    After clicking on Manage Wishlist a customer can update a wishlist name and delete a wishlist according to his/her requirement.

    A Customer can check the configuration that has been set by the admin for his wishlist manager. To check that configration click on allowed wishlist setting.

    A customer can delete the products from a wishlist. Customers can also add the product to the cart from the wishlist.

    You can copy or move the product from one wish list to another.

    Wishlists Sharing

    A customer can share the wishlists with his/her friends and family members through email.

    After clicking on the Share Wishlists option, the customer has to enter the emails of people with whom he wants to share the wishlist.

    A customer has to enter the message which will be received by the people of whom he has entered email ids. A customer can also remove the email id. After entering a message and email ids, a customer has to click on the share button so that the wishlist email can be received by the people of whom email ids have been entered.

    After that customer will receive the mail.

    When you will click on the link it will redirect to share wish list.
