Zipcode Validator for Shopify: Additional Features

Your customers have entered the zipcode for a product and the result shows unavailable..!! But hey you can make them check out the related products available on the same zip code.
Yes, an additional section is introduced in Product Zipcode Validator for Shopify, where admin can choose the additional features of this app from this section of the app, each additional feature comes with added functionalities and additional charges which will be added to your monthly subscription of Zipcode Validator app.

Also, some extra permission is required from the admin’s end for this feature. That is, the admin will just have to click on the upgrade link and then accept the payment.
Clicking on Upgrade button you will be redirected to this window to accept the payment.

Clicking on update the feature of the related product will get enabled. To have the functionality of displaying related products available on entered zip code on frontend you will have to enable this feature and clicking on Synchronize collection, all the collection of Shopify store will get synchronized with this app. Also, this feature will add up $9 per month over and above your monthly charges for Product Zipcode Validator

In case you want to disable this feature and come back to the basic version of the app, you simply have to disable the related product button and then agree to the dialog box for unsubscribing this.

• To display related products block in product description page you have to copy the below-given code and paste it to product.liquid file.
  Follow the below screenshots to know the detailed procedure :  
  • Click on Online Store.
  • Go To Themes.
  • Click on Customize Theme button on the top right.
  • Select Edit HTML/CSS button from the Theme Option on Top Left.
  • Select Product.liquid file from the Templates or Snippet where you want to show the link.
  • Paste the code then click on the save button to save the changes.

• You can set the configuration for this feature by clicking on “here” link in important notes, or by straightway visiting app’s configuration.
  Clicking on here you will get redirected to the configuration page to set the related product feature’s configuration.
  
• With enabling this related product feature a page will simultaneously get created on the frontend. Where the customer can view all the related products on the basis of zip code and collection.
• Also, on the related product page, all the similar products on that particular zip code will get displayed.
• To add this feature as a menu option on the front end, you will have to create or add a menu from the navigation section at Shopify backend. Follow the below process:
  Click on Online Store –>Select Navigation –>Click on Edit Menu –>Add a menu with name Available Products or similar –>Select PAGE named ‘Related Products’ from link drop down –>Click on save.

Now you can import the products from your Shopify store date wise (on the basis of date of creation), you have to click on Import product button, and then you will have to enter the from date and to date. All the products created under that slab of date will get imported to the app.

On the front end, the related products window will appear on the product description page, and if related products lists are more than 05 in number then there will appear a view all button, clicking on which all the related product for that zip code will appear.
