INTRODUCTION

Share Order Details Easily with Odoo Share Website Order With Others!

By default, In Odoo sharing order details are not possible but now with Odoo Share WebsiteOrder with Others, it becomes easier for the customers to share the details with anyone.

Provide a convenient option for your customers to share their order details with others. The module adds the button to share the order details to the order form in the customer’s website account.

It’s quite common today for people to place orders for their friends, relatives, etc from their website account. Now, the customers can also share order details which include products, their prices, order total, and other details.

It helps you to promote customer convenience, the customers do not need to note down the order details manually. They can just send them with a click to any email address.

The customer can access the share order option from their account and send the order with a click. The recipient can see details in the email or click on the portal link(if enabled) to view the customer’s complete order.

FEATURES

1. The module allows the customers to share their order details directly from the website account.
2. The customers can send their order details to anyone via email or through a direct Portal link share.
3. Order details can be sent to single or multiple recipients at the same time.
4. You can easily enable/disable the portal share option from the backend.
5. If the portal share is enabled, the recipient receives the access link in his email.
6. The recipient can see only the shared order via access link but cannot access the customer’s portal account ensuring security.
7. Admin can choose which sharing options to provide to the customer from backend settings.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file from your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘share_odoo_order’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo Apps and then, click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and then, search ‘share_odoo_order’.
7. As a result, you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Backend View

1. Firstly, login to the ‘Odoo Instance’ and go to the ‘Website’ module.
2. Now, go to the ‘Settings’ under the ‘Configuration’ menu. Here, under the Share Odoo Order select the option with you want to choose for sharing order details as per your convinience.

3. Now, after creating the sale order from Odoo website. The user can Share Order Details with anyone via email or through a direct Portal link share.

4. Add Email address to share order details with others.

5. The recipients receive the details of the order in their mails.
