    Shopware Pre Order

    Introduction

    Shopware Pre-order allows the customer to place the order for the product which is yet not available in your store. The admin can add any product for the pre-order and that product will get out of stock automatically. 

    The customer must be logged-in for placing the pre-order. This module also provides the option for partial or full payment while adding any product to pre-order.

    Note

    • You need to create reCAPTCHA – Site Key and Secret Key for privacy.
    • Shopware Pre-order is compatible with Shopware 6.0.0.

    Features

    1. The customer can Order out of stock products.
    2. Using this module customers can pay full or partial payment.
    3. Admin can set a Partial percentage of the product amount / Full product amount to be paid for placing the pre-ordered product.
    4. Admin can check details and enquires in the admin panel.
    5. Add only one pre-order product at a moment.
    6. Customer Login is essential for placing the Pre-order of any product.
    7. When admin will add any product for Pre-order then it will become out of stock automatically.

    Installation

    Shopware provides two ways to upload the plugin to the server.

    1. Using Command
    2. Manual installation

    Installation using commands

    Customers will get a zip folder, and they have to extract the contents of this zip folder on their system. The customer has to copy the folder WebkulPreOrder to custom > plugins to directly Shopware6, as shown in the image below:

    Now open the Shopware 6 application in the Terminal.

    • Run this command to refresh the plugin –
    ./bin/console plugin:refresh
    • Go to your Shopware installation Root directory and run this command to install and activate the plugin –
    ./bin/console plugin:install --activate WebkulPreOrder
    • To clear the cache run this command –
    ./bin/console c:c

    Now refresh the administration.

    After that, visit administration  Extensions -> My extensions-> Apps after you can find all the installed plugins, the Pre-order will be listed there.

    Manual Installation

    For the manual installation of the plugin follow the steps as mentioned below:

    Step 1: In the Shopware Backend go to plugin manager by navigating through Extensions -> My extensions-> Apps after you can find all the installed plugins in it.

    Step 2: My plugins page appears where all of the existing plugins are visible. Now, click on the Upload plugin button to add a new plugin to the list.

    Step 3) After uploading the plugin zip, the user can see the plugin in the list.

    4) Now the user can click on the install icon to install the Webkul Pre-order plugin.

    5) After the installation of the plugin, the user can click to activate the plugin.

    6) Next to the installation process and plugin configuration if the Pre-order icon option is not visible then run this command to clear the cache:

    ./bin/console c:c

    Get the – reCaptcha Site Key and Secret Key

    Go to the Google reCaptcha page and click on the Admin console button on the right.

    You must have a Google Account to login. Enter your Gmail user namepassword and click the Next button to proceed further.

    • Enter a label that will make it easy for you to identify the site in the future.
    • Choose the type of reCAPTCHA as – reCAPTCHA V3.
    • Enter the Domain name(registration for domain.com also registers subdomain.domain.com) where you want to use it.
    • Accept the reCAPTCHA Terms of Service by checking the checkbox.
    • Lastly, click the Register button.

    Now, you will have the reCAPTCHA Site Key and Secret Key.

    Pre-order Admin-End

    Module Configration

    After the successful installation of the Shopware pre-order module, the admin can configure the module.

    For that, they need to navigate through Setting>Estensions>Preorder Configuration and then click on the Inventory Source button.

    In config, enter the site key and secret key. After that click on the Save button.

    On the front-store, when customers Login then the reCAPTHCHA security will visible on the product page and Enquiry list page.

    Pre-order

    Pre-order Product list

    To add the products, the admin needs to click on the Pre-order product list.

    The admin can also add a new Pre-Order product and delete/edit any already created one.

    Add Product –

    To add a new Pre-Order product, click on the Add button at the top right-hand corner of the Pre-Order product list page and this opens a page to add a new one.

    Here you have to –

    • Search and select the product within your product catalog to which you want to add the Pre-Order.
    • Select Pre-Order mode as – Full or Partial.
    • If you select Partial, that an option will visible Percentage. In this entered percentage of the price of the product will be taken initially and the remaining when the pre-order will be complete.
    • In the option set the Pre-Order quantity that will be available for this product.
    • Set the Quantity per order that will be contained within a single order.
    • Fill the number of orders a customer can place.
    • Select the status as Enabled or Disabled.
    • Then, click the Save button top to save the pre-order product.

    Purchasing Pre-Order

    Type- Full

    Customers can see Shopware pre-order products in store-front.

    Click on a Shopware Pre-order product. Then Customers will find a “Login” button if they already haven’t logged in. Click the Login button to log in.

    Please note – Login is required for pre-ordering a pre-order product.

    After login, go back to the Shopware Pre-order product and you will see the button.

    This is a type of Full Pre-order, that customer will have to pay the complete cost at a time. When the product will be in stock the product will be shipped to the customer directly. For the checkout, click on Send Order.

    Now, whenever the pre-order product availability date arrives the product will be shipped directly to the customer’s address.

    Type – Partial

    This is a type of Partial Pre-order, that customer can set a Partial percentage of the product amount / Full product amount to be paid for placing the pre-ordered product.

    As it’s a percentage based pre-order product, you will see the message displayed that “Pre Order price – 10% before completion of the Order” i.e. $89.00. Depending upon the percentage set by the admin in the backend configuration settings, this message gets displayed.

    On the checkout page, click the Send Order at the last.

    Now, whenever the pre-order product availability date arrives the product will be shipped directly to the customer’s address.

    To check your pre-order Products, go to Front-end right side click on My Account. Here click on the Pre-order list.

    Here the customer will see all lists.

    In the above image, you will see order number “10006” partial payment and under the Action column, the add to cart button is inactive.

    Now, when the product gets in stock this in-active button will become active so that the customer can add the product to cart and make the rest of the left-over payment.

    Here you will see when the product comes to the stock the cart button will active.

    Now in the Shopping cart page, the customer will pay the due amount.

    When payment will be completed, you will see the order details in the pre-order list section.

    Admin-End

    In this section, the admin will find a list of all the pre-orders that have been placed by the customers.

    Admin can see the results for the pre-order list – Product Name, Customer Name, Partial order number, Complete Order Number, and Quantity, Unit Price, Unit Total, Paid amount, Due, Preorder Type, Purchase Date, Status.

    The admin can also view the details of any of the pre-order by clicking the View button. 

    When admin clicks on View button, that shows options view partial order or view complete order.

    When the admin clicks on “View Order”, then a new page will be open and that page will be related to shopware “order overview”.

    Here admin will see the partial/complete order details.

    Pre-order list

    Front-End

    The customer will be able to see all the orders that have placed for the pre-order products. Go to Front-end right side click on My Account. Here click on the Pre-order list.

    The customer can find the details related to the Shopware Pre-order such as – 

    • Customer Name
    • Product Name
    • Partial order number
    • Complete order number
    • Quantity
    • Unit Price
    • Unit Total
    • Paid amount
    • Due
    • Pre-order type
    • Purchase date

    Note: The action button(to add the pre-order product to cart) gets activated when the pre-order products get in stock.

    Pre Order Enquiry List

    Enquiry List – Front-End

    Customers can send Enquiries to the admin related to the pre-ordered product from the Pre-order product page and can reply back to the admin from the Enquiry list

    Go to the shop click on My account, here click on Pre-order Enquiry list button to send an Enquiry to the admin regarding the current pre-order product.

    For Enquiry related to products, the Customer will click on the Enquiry button.

    On Enquiry, the customer has to fill all the information that shows in the below image.

    After that click on Submit Button.

    Here, the customers can check all of the Enquiries they have made in relation to the pre-order products.

    To view a particular Enquiry, click the View button to the right of an Enquiry and the below page shows up.

    After resolving the query, the customer can change the status and submit it.

    Admin-End

    The admin can check all Pre-Order Enquiry of customers.

    The admin can also delete the Enquiry list as required. To view an Enquiry, just click the View button under the Action column for the particular customer.

    After clicking the view button a new page will open. Here, you will see the customer’s Enquiry related to products.

    Here, the admin can revert back to the customer’s Enquiry by entering the query and selecting the status as Close or Resolved as required.

    To reply back, enter the query and select the current status as open/resolved, and finally, click the Submit button to send in the reply to the customer.
