    Workflow

Once the module configuration is done at the admin end then at the front end, first customer can see the Quick Order link on the header navigation bar, if enabled by admin. Second a new tab for “Quick order” is created at the customer dashboard.

Once the module is configured successfully, a quick order link is added at the header of the page. A new tab for “Quick order” is also added at the customer’s dashboard.

Note: If quick order link on header navigation bar is disabled by admin then it will have no effect on quick order tab on customer’s dashboard. Also, customer should be registered for creating quick order. Quick order link will not be available for guest checkout.

Customer will be redirected to quick order page by clicking on either “Quick order” link or “Quick order” tab.

Customer can add multiple products on the cart either by uploading the CSV file or by adding products one by one on the quick order page.

Customer can also add more rows to add more products in the quick order list.

Creating quick order by uploading CSV file:

Customer can add multiple products on the quick order page by uploading products using a CSV file. All the products added into the file will be displayed on the quick order page, once the file is uploaded on quick order page.

Customer can also edit/delete the product from quick order page. After clicking on the “create order” button, the customer will be redirected to the checkout page.

Customer can click on GET DIRECTIONS button on quick order page to get information on how to import multiple products using a CSV file.

While adding the products to CSV file, if customer has left the product combination import field empty and product combination for the product imported exists then product combination for that product will also be imported.

Creating quick order by adding products one by one on quick order page:

Customer can also add multiple products on quick order page one by one by searching the product through unique identification or the product name.

On searching the product, list of all the products that bear any resemblance with product’s unique identification number will be displayed as per the configuration settings.

Once all products are added for quick order, click on create order to proceed with the order.

Customer can edit or delete the products from the list anytime before creating an order.

Customer can also view the product by clicking on the product image. Clicking on the product image will redirect customer to the product page.

Now, a customer can also generate CSV file from their already placed orders from “Order details page”.

This was all about Prestashop quick order & the ways in which the functionality can be added to the store.
