Odoo POS Signature

INTRODUCTION

Today where the technology is rapidly growing and being utilized in the corporate world. Likewise, the digital signatures is something that is being accepted & used globally.

Now, you can ask your customers to draw a signature at the time of making the purchase on your store.

Therefore, we are introducing you to our ‘Odoo POS Signature’ module. Which facilitates you to capture the signature of the customer at the time of placing an order from your POS store/restaurant. The drawn signature will be printed on the order receipt. Moreover, it is also saved in the back end as proof you can further check it out.

FEATURES

1. The Odoo POS Signature module allows the POS user to capture the signature of the customer.

2. A customer can draw their signature while shopping.

3. The signature will be shown on the order receipt.

4. Additionally, the provided signature of the customer saved in the back end also.

INSTALLATION

1.) Once you purchase the Odoo POS Signature module From Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.

2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- “pos_signature”.

3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.

4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.

5.) Then, open on the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.

6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search “pos_signature”.

7.) Now you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Back-end

1. Initially, login to your Odoo database and then navigate to the Point Of Sale application.

2. Now, you can launch a POS session.

Front-end

3. Here, click on to the ‘Add Signature’ buttonto get the signature window.

4. Here, the customer can draw the signature.

Click on the ‘Clear’ button if you want to delete the signature & draw it again.

Or, hit the ‘Save Signature’ add this signature.

5. The customer’s signature will also appear on the order receipt.

Back-end

5. You can see the signature in the back-end under ‘Orders’ as this is saved in the backed orders.
