Odoo POS Home Delivery Module allows you to manage the delivery orders in the POS session. The Odoo POS user can take the delivery orders during the running POS session and send them to the Odoo backend. It eliminates manual work thus saves time as the Odoo POS user can handle home delivery in Odoo POS
The customer can also provide a different delivery address than the one saved in the Odoo. Any additional delivery charge and a delivery date can also be added to the order.
Once the POS user confirms the order, it is saved in the Odoo as a sales quotation. The Odoo user can confirm the order.
- The module allows the Odoo POS user to handle home delivery orders during running POS session.
- The Odoo POS user can create a sales quotation for delivery orders.
- The customer can give a different delivery address than the one provided in the Odoo database.
- The Odoo user can also add a delivery charge to the delivery orders.
- The delivery date for the order can also be assigned in the running POS session.
- A sales quotation is created in the Odoo once the order is confirmed.
1.) Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘pos_to_sales_order’.
3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5.) Then, open on Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pos_to_sales_order’.
7.) You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
1.) In Odoo, go to POS menu. Here click on settings any POS session.
2.) Under extra price, select the delivery charge. The product allows you to add delivery charge as an extra charge in the running POS session for delivery orders.
3.) Now, run the POS session. Then, add the customer to the POS.
4.) Add the products to the cart and click on create a sales order.
5.) On the pop-up, tick the checkbox if you wish to change the delivery address of the customer. Otherwise, it will use the shipping address saved in the Odoo.
6.) Then, click on extra charge. You can add delivery charges for the order as an extra charge.
7.) You can also add any additional notes about the order for the Odoo backend user.
8.) Click on create to create a sales quotation.
9.) You can print the order or send it by mail.
10.) In the Odoo backend, got to sales >> quotations.
11.) Open the particular POS sales quotation. Here you would be able to see the delivery charge in the order lines.
12.) The notes, if any, are also visible in the order.
13.) You can now proceed to confirm the order.
