    INTRODUCTION

    Better business records can assure numerous advantages to your organization.

    If you possess proper records of your sales, you can make effective future plans for your business measuring the past & current performance. Likewise, using the Point Of Sale in your store or restaurant. You need to keep a record of total sales, most selling items, discounts, and many other things related to POS.

    However, recording data is never easy for anyone and when we work with a huge amount of data then it becomes very complicated.

    Therefore, to solve this, we have come up with the Odoo POS Dashboard module. This module allows you to keep the POS sales details in the form of graphs and data. It shows the top 5 products, top customers, top sales, Peak hours, etc. 

    Additionally, you can also download the pdf of the graphs and can view the data for different time periods.

    Moreover, it can represent the dashboard data in multiple approaches/views like: Bar graph, pie chart, donut chart, progress bar, line view, and many more.

    FEATURES

    1. The Odoo POS Dashboard module facilitates you to keep the POS sales records.

    2. It shows the top 5 products, top customers, top sales, peak hours, etc of your POS.

    3. You can print the reports of data in PDF format.

    4. The module has numerous graphical representations to track data i.e, pie chart, polar area chart, line graph, donut chart, radar chart, and bar graph.

    5. You can view the detailed information of represented stats.

    6. You can set the targets for your sales.

    7. Also, you can zoom the view of representation for better tracking.

    8. You can apply the given filters to track the data that is the following: Today, last week, last month, and last year, etc.

    9. Moreover, if you want you can edit the represented data as per your requirements.

    INSTALLATION

    1.) Once you purchase the Odoo POS Dashboard module From the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.

    2.) Extract the file from your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- “wk_pos_dashboard”.

    3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.

    4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.

    5.) Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.

    6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search “wk_pos_dashboard”.

    7.) Now you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

    WORKFLOW

    1. Log in to your Odoo database, and navigate to the ‘POS dashboard’.

    Login to the Odoo database & navigate  to POS dashboard.

    2. Navigate to the POS Dashboard > ‘Configuration’ to create a dashboard for the POS sales.

    In the POS Dashboard Configurations, create a Dashboard for POS sales.

    3. After writing the name of the dashboard, you can set the targets for your sales specifically for the followings:

    • The Target Sales Amount
    • Targets Orders No.
    • Quantities Target.
    • Invoiced Orders Target .
    • Discount Target .
    Define dashboard targets for every activity.

    4. Additionally, here you can configure the default representations/graph for each activity. A separate graph view can be defined for each activity as shown in the below image.

    5. This is how the set target & achievements level appears just within the corresponding POS.

    The target and achievements will appear on the POS Dashboard.

    6. Here, you can see the detailed view of the POS sales, can see Today’s Orders, Today’s Sales,& Today’s Product Sold in the big boxes on the Top.

    Moreover, you can see detailed information of Top 5 Products & Top 5 Orders. Also, can change the view/representations of the graph.

    7. You can use the filter to see the records of a particular time range i.e, Today, Last week, Last Month, & Last year.

    8. Here, you can see the Top 5 Customers record, & Sales Statistics. Also, you can download PDF file of the graphs & see it later on and can edit the graph by clicking on the ‘Edit Button’
