Odoo Merge Similar Packaging Product

INTRODUCTION

BOM (Bill Of Material) is a list of raw materials which helps to make a final product. The manufacturing process can become more sorted when all the similar requirements get merged.

Hence, for the ease of the businesses; Odoo Merge Similar Packaging Product has come up in the market. The module offers you the flexibility to Merge Similar Packaging Product in Odoo.

Create packages with different quantities of a product. Similar packaging products will be merged automatically when the delivery will be generated.

FEATURES

1. Create Multiple Packages for similar product.
2. View the detailed Individual Packagings in Delivery Form.
3. Same product packaging will be merged automatically when MO is created from Sale Order.
4. Merge Product packaging Manually in Manufacturing Order.
5. BOM of the Product is automatically merged to show required Quantities to make merged packagings

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘merge_similar_packaging_product’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open on Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘merge_similar_packaging_product’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1) Log in to your Odoo Database and go to the Sales Setting

2) Enable the checkbox to automatically Merge Similar Manufacturing order lines

3) Create sale order of same product in different packagings

4) Merged sale order lines when delivery is generated

5) See the Packaging Information in a different tab
