INSTALLATION

  1. Once you purchase the Odoo eLearning Video Uploader module from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_elearning_video’.
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
  5. Then, open on Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_elearning_video’. You will be able to see the module in the search results.
  7. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

  1. Login to your Odoo database and go to the eLearning module.

  1. Click on the ‘Configuration‘ tab and select the ‘Choose Formats’ menu. Here, you can add the video format that you want to add in the content of the course by clicking on the button ‘New’.

  1. Navigate to ‘Courses>Courses’ to view all the courses. The admin can select an existing course or can create a new one by clicking ‘New’.

  1. After selecting an existing course or creating a new one, The admin can add the content by selecting ‘Add Content’ under the Content tab.

  1. Select the ‘Content Type’ as video and ‘Document Type’ as File. An attachment field be visible for attaching the video file to the field. Once the file is attached the admin can select ‘Go To Website’ feature to preview the video on the front end.

  1. The admin can also create content by navigating to ‘Courses>Contents’ and attaching the video file by selecting ‘Content Type’ as video and ‘Document Type’ as File.

  1. The customer can view the uploaded video by navigating to the ‘Courses’ tab and can view the uploaded video under the ‘Course’ section.
