INSTALLATION

Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘display_discount_cart’.
Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
Now, open the Odoo Apps and then, click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
Then, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
In the search bar, remove all the filters and then, search ‘display_discount_cart’.
As a result, you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Firstly, login to the ‘Odoo Instance’ and go to the ‘Website’ module.

Now, go to the ‘Settings’ under the ‘Configuration’ menu. Here, enable the Discounts under the Pricing section.

Now, go to the Website after adding the product to the cart from the shop page. Here, hover your cursor over the ‘My Cart’ icon at the top website menu.
A hover box will display the items currently present in the cart. You can also see various other details like the actual and discounted prices of the products, subtotal, taxes levied and total bill amount.
You can manage the cart directly from the website hover box anytime on the website. To remove the unwanted products just click on the ‘garbage bin’ icon next to that particular product.
To empty the entire cart at once click on ‘Clear Cart’ tab on the hover box.
