Odoo Bridge For Magento Multi-Language Extension

INTRODUCTION

Offering products to customers in their own language helps the Sellers to expand their customer base. Moreover, purchasing from the Multi-Language web interface offered by the brands also helps the customers to buy comfortably and confidently from their Websites. Magento allows you to manage your products in different languages on Magento Website. So, it bridges the linguistic gap between the Seller and the Buyer.

Odoo Bridge for Magento provides the facility to export the products between Odoo and Magento only in one language. However, ‘Odoo Bridge For Magento Multi-Language Extension‘ offers you to export products between Odoo and Magento in multiple languages.

FEATURES

1:- This extension allows you to export/update products with translation bidirectionally between Odoo and Magento.

Note:-  The category translation is only available till Odoo v12. In Odoo v13, the category name field is no more translated. 

INSTALLATION

For the installation of the module, please refer to the video mentioned below

WORKFLOW

Once you have installed the MOB Multi Language Extension; the workflow of the module starts with the mapping of languages at Odoo and Magento end.

At Magento End

1:- In order to map the languages at Magento end. Firstly, open ‘Odoo connector’ tab then you will find ‘language mapping’ under the ‘General tab’. After that, click on the ‘Manual Mapping’ button to map all existing Odoo languages with your Magento stores.

At Odoo End

Now, go to the “Magento Odoo Bridge” and then navigate to ‘language mapping’ under the ‘mapping’ to find the mapping of the languages at Odoo end.

Export translations

MOB Multi Language Extension provides the feature to export the translations of products from Magento to Odoo.

Now, go to Odoo connector >> Odoo configuration and select ‘yes’ in the product translation tab. Here, you will find this tab under “Automatic Synchronization Settings”.

Individual product translation

To export product along with their translation. Go to the product catalog, then click on ‘Action’ button and then select ‘Synchronise to Magento’ option. Moreover, you need to enable the ‘Translation Synchronisation’ and select ‘Synchronise Now‘ button to export the translation of the Product to Magento.

Bulk Product translation export

If you want to export the translation of the all products available in Odoo at the same time, then go to ‘Ecomm Odoo Bridge’ and then select ‘Bulk Synchronisation’.

Select ‘Synchronise Products’, enable the ‘Translation Synchronization’ checkbox, and then select the ‘Synchronise Now’ button to export the synchronize product along with their translation with Magento.
