    Guide To ChatWhizz Add-On – Booking App for Shopify

    Booking App comes up with yet another add-on namely ChatWhizz. We can simply say that ChatWhizz is now integrated with the Booking App by Webkul for Shopify.

    Wondering what ChatWhizz is all about? Let’s dig deeper & discover.

    ChatWhizz is basically a chat application developed by Webkul to conduct seamless communication within an organization via audio calls, video calls, conferences, or live chat.

    With Booking App for Shopify, you can enable the live conference feature on your booking website & let users communicate over the chat system regarding their bookings.

    Installation of Booking App will take just a few minutes of yours. Then, you can proceed to enable the ChatWhizz add-on within the app.

    How To Enable?

    Log in to your Shopify store, go to the Apps section, and visit the Booking App.

    There, you will get a separate Add-On menu. You will the ChatWhizz add-on.

    Important Note:- To use this feature, first you need to create an account on Chatwhizz. After that, click the Install button to enable the add-on.

    Now, once you install the add-on, go to the Configure section and add the API token.

    How to Get the API Token?

    To get the API token, log in to Chatwhizz admin panel>>Go to Settings and get the API token.

    Now, once you get the API token, paste it into Configure section in the Booking App.

    Now, you can visit the booking products listing section & select a booking product for which you want to allow live chat with the customer.

    How does it work?

    Using this add-on, you can now allow customers to schedule a live chat for your booking product/service that you offer on your booking website.

    You need to enable the ChatWhizz option from the Booking Products section and enter the email ID of the user.

    NOTE:- Make sure that the email entered is a valid ChatWhizz user.

    Now, as soon as a booking is scheduled by the customer, a conference chat will be created automatically based on the selected slot. Thus, users can communicate over the chat system.

    Moreover, you can have the conference feature in case of multi-user booking. Thus, you can allow multiple users to interact with each other at the same time on the live chat. 

    Important Note:- This add-on is specifically for appointment type and concert type booking.

    The conference will be created with that user and the customer who has made the booking. If you are using multi-user booking, enable the option to create a conference for all the users.

    In the Case of ChatWhizz as a User:

    In this case, you need to provide conference permission to the user while adding the user from the ChatWhizz admin panel. Then, the user will see the conference details from their respective user panels.

    Although, the admin can view all the conferences details from the ChatWhizz admin panel.

    Now, once the product is booked, this is how the Conference option appears on the User Panel.
