Job Summary

Webkul is looking for an experienced Odoo Accountant to manage accounting operations in Odoo ERP, maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions using the Odoo Accounting module.
• Record and maintain sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare GST workings, TDS entries, and statutory compliance records.
• Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Generate financial reports such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits.
• Work on Tally for accounting operations wherever required.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Odoo ERP (Accounting Module) is mandatory.
• Experience working with both Odoo and Tally is essential.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other analytical functions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Com or Semi-Qualified CA.
• Experience in ERP-based accounting environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reconciliation skills.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
