Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Node.js / MERN Stack Developer with 2–3 years of experience in developing scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience with Node.js and related frameworks, along with hands-on experience in modern frontend technologies such as React.js or Next.js.

The candidate should be comfortable working with relational databases and building robust, high-performance applications. Experience in eCommerce or marketplace-based projects will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Develop server-side applications using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with React.js and Next.js applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment activities.
• Work closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming concepts.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js-based frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Working knowledge of React.js and/or Next.js.
• Good understanding of database design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on eCommerce, Marketplace, or Multi-Vendor platforms.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with Redis, caching mechanisms, or message queues.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or cloud-based deployments.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
