About the Role
Webkul Software is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts and Finance Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a B.Com graduate and a semi-qualified CA with Hands-on experience in Tally and a solid understanding of core accounting and finance functions. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong career in finance while working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping using Tally
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and MIS
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
- Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for audits and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely documentation
- Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis as required
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Com (mandatory); Semi-Qualified CA (mandatory)
- Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
- Technical Skills: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Tally
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
Added Advantage
- Working knowledge of SAP, ERP, Sage Intacct, Odoo or any other accounting software will be considered a strong plus
