Build your brand with Odoo Website Product Brand!

What is Branding? It’s the process of identifying a product with its name or logo as a medium that tells about the qualities and merits of the product to prospective customers. Usually, when a customer has to choose between branded and non-branded clothes, they always choose the branded ones.

Hence, to let you enjoy the benefits of the brand, we created Odoo Website Product Brand. The Odoo app allows you to differentiate products according to their brand name. Brand names help strengthen customer loyalty and are an essence of product differentiation.

Moreover, customers can easily shortlist products according to a specific brand. Products can be differentiated based on attributes (if selected) for the brands.


  1. Odoo Website Product Brand Module allows you to display a list of the brands on the Odoo website.
  2. You can create and manage a brand easily from the Odoo backend.
  3. A list of products is maintained for every brand from the backend.
  4. You can easily assign a brand while creating a product.
  5. A separate list of “products by brand” is maintained for better management.
  6. It allows product differentiation based on the brand on the Odoo website.

  1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_product_brands.’
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
  5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_product_brands.’
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.


Moving on to the configuration of the Odoo Website Product Brand.

1. After installation, the module doesn’t require configuration; however, you have to add brands in the backend and specify products under them.

2. Go to the Odoo backend and open ‘Website> Product Brands> All Brands.’ Now, click the ‘New’ button to create a brand.


3. In the brand creation form, fill in the brand name, website, and sequence. Also, add the products related to the brand in the ‘Products’ tab.



4. Move to the ‘Website> Products’ sub-menu and apply the ‘Group By’ filter and select ‘Brands’ under it. It will divide the products into different brands as shown below.


5. After that, select a product, and under the ‘General Information’ tab, add a brand from the available ‘Brand’ option.



6. Open the Website shop page to view the ‘Brands’ filter, and select brands to view their products.


7. Click on the ‘Brands’ menu to view all the available brands and their product count.


8. When you click any brand logo, it will open its page to show all the products offered by that brand.


9. Therefore, the customers will be able to avail the benefit of selecting brands on your Odoo website.
