We are proud to be the part of the mega eCommerce event that is Meet Magento Asia 2019, the largest Magento event ever in Asia region held again on 12th November 2019 at Siam Kempinski Hotel, Bangkok.
Event is attended by over 800 attendees from different countries under one roof which makes it a mega event. The event is attended & sponsored by the known big brands Google, Thai Airways, PayPal, HSBC, Mercedes Benz & many more.
Tech enthusiasts, retailers, merchants, developers, solution providers, evangelist are part of this event.
We are a total of seven people who have represented Webkul software on the event day.
The main agenda of this kind of mega-events is to gather the community together help the attendees to interact among themselves as well as give chance to the solution providers to showcase their best solutions to eliminate the tech hurdles faced by the customers these days.
Great talks given by company officials make such kind of events a true success. By keeping these things in mind the organizers of the event have done a fantabulous job by managing the event on such a great scale.
We reached there in the morning, took our Id’s & an informative goody bag which is having the brochure of all the company booths as well as the detailed agenda which really helps us to not miss anything on the schedule.
Jack Tran, Principal Consultant – SmartOSC kicked off the event with welcome remarks.
We started off with our event first presentation which was given by lucy McCabe of Ogilvy Consulting on “Connecting with the hyper-connected consumer with creativity & technology” which was a really informative talk.
After the talk completion, the organizers encouraged the attendees to interact with each other and connect with service integrators, merchants, and technology providers at the refreshment area.
We head to the refreshment zone which was really spacious, the refreshment offered was delicious & the opportunity of networking was really amazing there.
We got an ample amount of time to do the networking as well, you can take a look at the tweet featuring company officials of Connect.com, Mageplaza.
After quick networking, we again rejoin the next presentation given by Fabian Rebeiro of Omnyfy delivering his talk on “The Evolution Of Marketplace Commerce – How New Marketplace Models Can Open Up Business Opportunities For Your Organisation“
After this, we have experienced the future of customer experience in commerce by a panel of experienced marketing partners, managers Eddie teng, Prantik Mazumdar, Lucy Mccabe & Nicholos.
The event agenda was nicely managed, after a couple of talks we head to the networking lunch where we have been provided with enough time to do the lunch & do networking with the other attendees, visit various company’s booths which were set up within the ally.
We also got some wonderful giveaways from the companies, one we got from Matthew McClelland of dotdigital their company mascot
After completing the lunch we proceed to the presentation area which was next set up for the Magento evangelist Ben Marks who presented on “The Future of Magento” which was really great & knowledgeable.
Ben also praised Webkul on our latest Magento Innovation award-winning PWA scan app & for our best in class product contribution to the Magento community every year.

The conference was concluded with the closing remarks by organizers. With extended gratitude and appreciation to all the speakers, sponsors, and delegates who made Meet Magento Asia 2019 a grand success.
After this, on way to the after-event networking party we manage to capture some good selfies.
Post-event, organizers hosted an after-party at the hotel garden place for the attendees to unwind & socialize with each other.
At the after networking session, we met with the speakers of the day, share some knowledgeable stuff with associates & enthusiasts.
The event helped out in making lots of opportunities for learning new things, networking with officials, provide a solution to global problems, etc.
We would like to thanks Magento for great technological advancements that they are making within the commerce sector by encouraging the community people to step ahead & organize such kind of mega-events & we as solution providers will always try our level best to attend the events.
