User Guide of CS-Cart Affiliate Extension

In this blog, we’ll discuss the user guide of CS-Cart Affiliate extension.

An affiliate and referral program is one of the most important parts of marketing strategies. Where sellers can increase their additional revenue for their products and services.

Affiliate users or referral users can get some commission from the seller. After the sales are converted or new registration from a referral link.

Affiliate and referral program is essential for every marketplace. Now for the CS-Cart ultimate and marketplace, Webkul provides affiliate and referral program modules.

With the help of CS-Cart Affiliate Extension, the admin can allow the sellers to provide the referral option on products and allows registered customers can generate referral links for joining.

Note: Without registering and login into the store, customers can neither get the option of ‘Refer this Product’ on the product page nor can refer any other guest customer for registration.

Installation and configuration: CS-Cart Affiliate Extension

When you download the add-on, you get one zip file and the install.txt file. Please read it carefully and follow it. Firstly click on the icon and select Manual installation to upload the zip file as per the below screenshot.

Now, Click on “Local” to browse the zip file and then click on “Upload & Install”.

After installation of the add-on, you will find the “CS-Cart Affiliate Extension” in the list of available add-ons. Make sure, the add-on is activated as shown in the below snapshot.

Now the user needs to click on the Referral system to configure the module.

General setting – CS-Cart Affiliate Extension

In the general setting, the admin can allow the creation of referral links for vendors, users, and admin on the tap on the check box.

With that, the admin can also set the minimum or maximum reward values or reward counts.

• Joining Reward Checkbox – Check this to allow joining reward points for the newly registered customers by the referral link. Then the referred customer or register customers both get reward points between Minimum or maximum points.
• Fix Value Check – After checking this box the registered customer gets a fixed value of reward points.

If the admin wants to enter manually reward points then needs to tap on the fix values check. The admin can set any order status on which rewards are generated.

• Point Value – The admin can enter point values like 1 or 2 (1 refer point = 1 reward point).
• Cashback Reason – The admin can enter the cashback reason for the mailer.

MLM Setting

In MLM setting the admin can set level-wise rewards points and also add new levels.

Vendor Wise Plan Referral Link Feature

In this module, the admin can provide a referral link feature according to the plan chosen by vendors.

If the admin wants to provide a referral link feature with selected membership then he can allow it as per their membership policy.

Allow Referral Link Option on Category or Product Page

Category Page

If the admin wants to allow or disallow a referral link option on any specific category page. Then the admin can easily manage this by tapping on the referral category status check box.

Product Page

If the admin wants to allow or disallow a referral link option on any specific product page. Then the admin can easily manage this by tapping on the referral product status check box.

Vendor Backend Product Page

If the vendor wants to allow or disallow a referral link option on any specific product page. Then the vendor can easily manage this by tapping on the referral product status check box.

Check Referral Points, MLM Listing, and E-Mail Referral List from Backend

The Admin checks referral points, MLM listing, and email referral list from the backend.

First click on ‘Customers’ then click on ‘Customers/administrations/Vendor’s administrations’ then click on ‘Respective Customer Name’ then click on the corner setting button then you will get ‘Referral Points’, ‘MLM List’, and ‘E-Mail Referral List’.

The admin can check referral points from the backend.

MLM Listing

The admin can check the MLM listing from the backend.

E-Mail Referral List

The admin can check the E-Mail referral list from the backend.

Store Frontend

Customers can share the registration link and check the referral points and E-mail the referral list.

‘Go to Frontend’ Then click on ‘My Account and log in.

Frontend Refer Link

Customers can send registration referral links by entering a valid email address.

After entering the email id customer’s referred person will get mail for registration.

Frontend Referral Points

Customers can check referral points from the front end with all details such as referral type, customer name, and amount.

Frontend E-mail Referral List

Customers can check the email referral list to whom the referral link is sent.

Product Refer Link

Customers can refer to any product by clicking on the ‘Refer this Product’.

After entering the email id customer’s referred person will get invitation mail for product purchase.
