INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘wk_payment_datatrans.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘wk_payment_datatrans.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Let’s begin the configuration of the Odoo Website Datatrans Payment Gateway.

CONFIGURATION AT ODOO END

1. Go to the ‘Invoicing> Configuration> Payment Providers’ in the Odoo backend.

2. Choose the Datatrans payment option from the listed payment providers.

3. Enter the payment gateway details and enter the ‘Datatrans Merchant ID and Dashboard Password’ tab.

4. Add the display name, and select payment icons and countries. Likewise, enter the payment Journal for payment recording in the ‘Configuration’ tab.

5. In the ‘Messages’ tab, enter all the content related to the listed scenario.

ODOO WEBSITE (FRONTEND)

6. Visit the front end, open the Shop page, move to the product page, and click the ‘Add To Cart’ button.

7. Select the Datatrans payment option on the checkout page and click the ‘Pay Now’ button. 

8. Select the payment method and proceed to the next page.

9. On the next page, enter the card or payment method details.

10. Enter the code on the number verification page and click the ‘Pay’ button.

11. Once done, you will see the payment success message along with the order number on your screen.

12. Go to the ‘Website> Configuration> Payment Transaction’ to view all the transactions.

13. View the complete transaction details and Datatrans next to the ‘Provider’ option.
