    1. Odoo Website Catalog Request enables the catalog feature from the backend.
    2. Add Recaptcha verification for requesting the catalog.
    3. If enabled, it permits guest users to request catalogs in Odoo.
    4. The module maintains different logs for online and offline catalog requests.
    5. Add banner images and catalog links while configuring.
    6. It permits users to request a catalog from the available icon.
    7. Users must provide details for requesting catalogs in the online and offline forms.
    8. The offline catalog is delivered to the address, while online is provided via email to the user.


    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- website_catalog_request‘.’
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_catalog_request.’
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.


    Let’s look at the configuration and functioning of the Odoo Website Catalog Request.


    1. Move to the ‘Settings> Website’ and locate the ‘Shop- Catalog’ menu and configure the settings after enabling the module by adding.

    Catalog Product- Add a service-based product for tracking each catalog delivery.

    Allow Multiple Catalog Mails- It allows you to email the catalog multiple times to the same user.

    Allow Multiple Catalog Delivery- It permits users to create multiple requests for the catalog.

    Catalog Banner Image- Upload an image to show on the catalog form on the website.

    Catalog Mail File- It lets you attach a file or image, which you want to send along a mail.

    Recaptcha- On enabling it, you must provide the recaptcha site key and secret key generated on its site.

    Non-Login User Catalog Request- It allows guest users to request a product catalog.

    Once done, save the changes.



    2. Users will get a catalog icon on the Odoo website to request them.


    3. In the catalog form, users will get the Physical Option, and click the ‘Add an Address’ button.


    4. Enter the name and address along with zip code, state, and country in the form. Once done, click the ‘Save Address’ option.


    5. Back on the Physical form, select an address, and click the ‘Request Catalog’ option. After that, it will show the generated catalog id on the form.


    6. The process of requesting ‘Online Catlaog’ is similar. Here, you need to click the ‘Add an Address’ button.


    7. Enter the name, email, and contact in the popup wizard. Once done, hit the ‘Save Address’ button.


    8. Click the ‘Request Catalog’ button to generate the catalog id number.



    9. In the Catalog Request menu, you can see all the created requests for physical & online types.


    10. Click and open an online request and click on the ‘Send Mail’ button to open the send mail wizard.


    11. Check the details in the send mail wizard, and if you are satisfied, click the ‘Send’ button.


    12. Online catalog request page after sending the catalog to the user.


    13. Similarly, on the offline (physical) catalog page, you will see the ‘Create Order’ button.


    14. The button will generate an order, which you can track as per the default Odoo order flow.
