INSTALLATION
- Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
- Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘postnl_shipping_integration.’
- Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
- Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
- Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
- In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘postnl_shipping_integration.’
- You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
WORKFLOW

CONFIGURATION AT ODOO END
1. Go to the ‘Inventory> Configuration> Shipping Methods’ in the Odoo backend after installation.
2. Enter the necessary details in the ‘PostNL Credentials’ tab, and add the API key, customer number, customer code, collection location, and contact person.
3. Move to the ‘Extra’ tab and enter the delivery settings and PostNL Shipping Information, especially the product code, printer type, and Fixed Price (cost for delivery).
4. Go to the ‘Sales> Quotation’ and create a new one with the ‘New’ button. Add a product to the order line and click the ‘Add Shipping’ button.
5. In the popup, select the ‘PostNL’ option and click ‘Get Rates’ to add delivery cost. Once done, click the ‘Add’ button.
6. After adding the shipping, you can view it in the order line. The delivery cost is also added to the total cost. Click the ‘Confirm’ button to confirm the order.
7. After confirming, the ‘Delivery’ option will be available on the sales order.
8. On the delivery order form, click the ‘Put in Pack’ button.
9. In the package details popup, enter the package details and click the ‘Save’ button.
10. After creating a package, the status changes to ‘Ready.’ You can also check the package details by clicking the ‘Packages’ button.
11. The package details display the entered package dimensions, weight, and date.
12. After validating the order, you can check the ‘Traceability and Tracking’ button on the delivery validation page. Also, you can check the Shipping label for the package.
13. The tracking will redirect you to the PostNL tracking page.
14. Traceability shows the entire order processing at the warehouse.
15. Generated shipping will look similar to the one shown below.
