INTRODUCTION

Create Collection with Odoo Website Product Collection!

A product collection is a collection of products that have been grouped together to form a whole. A product collection can be created in a number of ways, including by category, usage, and so on.

Customers and sellers can use product collections as a multipurpose tool. Customers can see all of the goods that can be purchased in conjunction with a product in one spot.

With Odoo Website Product Collection, multiple products can be grouped and published as a single collection on the website. The customer can see all the products in a collection and customize it to include only desired products. 

The module offers cross-selling opportunities and also helps the customer to easily buy related products together. The customer can buy the entire product collection or select items directly from the product page.

FEATURES

1. Create your custom product collections in Odoo backend.
2. Add, edit and also delete the item from a product collection.
3. A product collection can be created for each product.
4. Items in a collection can also be seen in the product template in Odoo backend.
5. The collection for the specific product shows up on that particular website product page.
6. The product collection carousels are added to the product page.
7. Click the carousel to open the collection pop-up.
8. Choose the items and add them directly to the cart.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_product_collection’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo Apps and then, click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and then, search ‘website_product_collection’.
7. As a result, you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1. Firstly, login to the ‘Odoo Instance’ and go to the ‘Website’ module.
2. Now, go to the ‘Products’ under the ‘Products’ tab.
3. Here, tick the checkbox next to Is a collection to add the collection products to that product.

4. Now, add the Collection Products under the Collection tab on the product page.

5. Go to the Website Shop Page, Here check the product collection and purchase it by simply clicking on the Shop The Collection button.

6. Select the Product from the Collection and click on the Add Collection button.

7. Added products are directly move to the Shopping Cart.
