Prerequisites For Using Odoo Marketplace Seller Shipping module

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the app from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the module zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘marketplace_seller_shipping’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘marketplace_seller_shipping’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW CONFIGURATION

BACKEND VIEW

1. Navigate through menu>>settings>>marketplace>>shipping method approval.This will auto approve any shipping methods created by sellers.

2. Next, navigate through other settings>>miscellaneous. Check the boxes based on your preferences, and click ‘Save’.

3. Go to seller dashboard >> configuration>>shipping methods>>New. Fill in the details, select a ‘Delivery Product’ and request approval.

4. The admin can see all the shipping methods of various sellers at one place under ‘shipping methods’.

SELLER VIEW

5. When logged in as a seller, sellers can create their shipping methods based on the pricing conditions they want.

6. The next step is to send a request to approve their shipping method by clicking on the ‘request to approve’ button.

7. Once approved, the seller will see their shipping method at the approved stage.

8. The seller can view all the shipping methods created by them at one place.

WEBSITE VIEW

9.  Navigate to the ‘Website‘, select the ‘Shop’ page, and add any product to the cart.

10. On the checkout page, the newly created shipping methods will appear, with ‘Shipping Charges’ displayed next to them. Select any method accordingly.

11. After selecting the preferred shipping method, choose a payment method and click on pay now. Your order is now complete.
