‘Odoo Marketplace Seller Credit Management System’ provides a credit management system for the sellers. Using this module, sellers can offer reward points to their customers.
The reward points rules are based on – total sales, product price, or a particular product. After earning the credit points, the buyers can use those points in the shopping cart.
Loyalty Programs and Credit Management Systems are usually run on websites to retain customers or to attract new customers. Those customers that have been lured away by your competitors will start buying from you again when you give them a good reason to do so by rewarding them with some credit points on every purchase.
Credit Points provide the motivation to the customers to repeat the purchase from the same seller and earn the redeemable credit point on every purchase.
It helps to increase the usual traffic of the store which directly helps to climb up the sales and revenue which is the main motive of every seller and the store admin.
FEATURES
- The module lets you introduce a credit point system for your customers.
- Customers will earn credit points for making purchases on your Odoo Website which will be redeem further on subsequent purchases.
- Credit points can also be awarded to the customer by configuring it in the Odoo backend.
- The Odoo website admin can set a credit base for the customers to earn credit points based on purchase amount.
- Credit Base are create on the basis of Product Specific, Purchase Amount and Product Price.
- Sellers can create multiple credit base.
- The threshold purchase amount can also be defined for the customers to be eligible to earn credit points by the seller.
- Customers need to sign up to earn credit points. After that, on every purchase customer gets the credit points according to the defined credit base.
- The points can also be redeemed on a one-time basis or partially on multiple orders as configured by the Odoo admin in the backend.
- Set the amount that can be redeemed with each credit point.
- The admin can also set the maximum purchase amount that can be redeemed by the customer using credit points in a single order on Odoo Website.
- The history of credit points redemption can be seen by customers, sellers and the store admin in the Odoo backend.
- Moreover, the customer can also see the credit points in his account and their redemption value on the checkout page.
- The information about the current credit points running on the Odoo website and its benefits are displayed on the customers checkout page.
INSTALLATION
- Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
- Extract the file from your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘marketplace_seller_credit_system’.
- Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
- Now, open the Odoo Apps and then, click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
- Then, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
- In the search bar, remove all the filters and then, search ‘marketplace_seller_credit_system’.
- As a result, you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
WORKFLOW
- Firstly, login to the ‘Odoo Instance’ and go to the ‘Seller Dashboard’.
- Now, click on the ‘Credit Rules’ under the ‘Credit Management’. To create new credit rules click on the ‘Create’ button.
- Fill all the details like name, seller, product, minimum purchase.
- Create Credit base under the ‘Point Calculation’ by clicking on ‘Add a line’.
- Credit base are created on the basis of Purchase Amount, Product Specific and Product Price.
- Here, you can check point calculation rules with their respective credit base.
- Now, create ‘Redemption Rules’ under the Redemption Calculation by clicking on ‘Add a line’.
- Here, are the default rules for credit Management system.
- Seller can ‘Request To Approve’ the Credit Rules. Only admin can approve the credit rules.
- Seller can create credit rules but required the approval of Admin.
- The stage of the Credit Rule changes from Pending to Approved after the approval of the admin.
- Admin and Seller both have access to check the credit history.
Website View
- Now, go to the website. Select the product of your choice, add the product to the cart.
- After confirming the product to purchase, the customer can also check the available credit point in his account.
- And, if there is no credit rule created by the seller of the product that can also be shown under the credit management.
- Check the ‘Redemption Policy’.
