INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘marketplace_daily_deals_and_flash_sales’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘marketplace_daily_deals_and_flash_sales’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Configuration of the Odoo Marketplace Daily Deals And Flash Sales Module

1. Once the installation is completed, log in as admin and visit the Odoo website app backend, then you can find the configuration tab on the navigation bar where you can change settings.

2. Select the configuration tab in the navigation bar, then a dropdown will open, click on settings to change the settings.

3. After clicking on settings, click on the ‘Webkul Website Addons’  tab, to change basic settings like stock management, delivery methods etc.

4. Under the ‘Sales Promotion’ tab, click on the ‘Configuration’ button beside the Website Daily Deals option to change settings related to the website daily deals.

5. Enter all the details mentioned in the configuration settings like the expiry setting, and how to display products and save it.

Seller view 

6. Log in as a seller and follow the path Seller Dashboard>> Products>> Deals and Offers, to manage deals and offers in one place and create new deals.

7. Here, you can see the list of all deals and offers created for the Marketplace website. Click on the ‘New’ button to create a new offer.

8. Enter all the offer details such as Name, Title, Start Date and End Date of the Deal according to how you want your deal to be.

9. Click on the Override default configuration option. This will allow the sellers to change the website view according to their needs.

10. The seller can customize website display options, manage expired deals, enable message and notification settings, and edit pre- and post-expiry messages.

11. A seller can add multiple no. of products on the deal by clicking on add a line, adding the product details (whether you want to provide a discount ) and then validating it to apply the offer.

12. Since the banner plays a major role in brand awareness, the seller can also create an attractive and eye-catching banner to attract more buyers in his/her marketplace.

Admin view

13. Admin can also create a new deal for marketplace products from Seller dashboard>>Products>>Deals and Offers. 

14. Here, you can see the list of all the offers and deals created by your sellers for the Marketplace website. Click on the ‘New’ button to create a new offer.

15. Enter all the offer details such as Name, Title, Start Date and End Date of the Deal. Once the deal is validated by you, the status will change from Draft to In progress.

16. Since you have the authority to include any seller’s products in a deal, create a marketplace deal by adding those products in the deal by clicking on ‘add a line’ under the deal items tab .

17. Therefore, once you select the product, the next step is to calculate its price for the deal or whether or not you want to apply a discount on the product.

18. You can pick an eye-catching and creative banner to attract customers towards your marketplace and add a detailed description of the deal.

Website View

19. On the website’s front end, there is a separate ‘Deals and Offers’ menu as shown below. Click on that option to see the offers in detail.

20. Therefore, by clicking on the ‘Deals and Offers’ menu, the deals page will display all the deals created with the banner attached.

21. Like this, you will be able to provide great deals, discounts, flash deals and various offers to the customers who visit your marketplace
