User Guide for Odoo List View Manager

Odoo List View Manager helps users customize Odoo list views and manage records with flexible column and search options.

Users can show or hide columns, change their order and width, set colors, and add tooltips. They can also search, edit, and duplicate records easily.

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will see a folder named wk_list_view_manager.
3. Copy and paste this folder into your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Open the Odoo App and go to the Settings menu. Then, activate Developer Mode.
5. Open the Apps menu and click Update Modules List.
6. Remove all filters from the search bar and search for wk_list_view_manager.
7. The module will appear in the search results. Click Install to install the module.

1. After installing Odoo List View Manager, open an Odoo application with a list view and navigate to the required list. The List View Manager options appear near the New/Create button, with available records, search, and filter options.

Enter a value in the search box below the required column to find matching content in that column. The list displays records that match the entered value.

2. Open List View Manager → Control Panel from the list view. Use the available options to show or hide columns, drag columns to change their order, adjust column width, set column background and text colors, and add custom tooltips to column headings.

3. Navigate to Settings → General Settings → List View Settings and enable Serial Number to display sequential numbers. Enter a custom name in Serial Number Column Label and select a color under Highlighted Background Color to highlight the selected row.

4. Open List View Manager → Control Panel and select the Group option for the required column. Search and select the user groups that can access the column, then save the settings to apply the restrictions.

5. From the list view, use the Enable/Disable option available near the New button to turn inline editing on or off. When enabled, users can update supported record values directly from the list without opening individual records.

6. Select one or multiple records using the checkboxes and click Copy from the list toolbar. The selected records will be duplicated directly from the list view without opening individual records.
