User Guide For CS-Cart Google Language Translator Add-on

CS-Cart Google Language Translator add-on seamlessly integrates Google Translate with your CS-Cart storefront, allowing customers to view your store content in their preferred language.

With intelligent browser-language detection, flexible widget placement, and clean storefront integration, the add-on makes it easier for international customers to browse and shop on your website.

The add-on can auto-translate based on the browser language or let customers select their preferred language manually.


And that will make their experience easy with the website.

Check a brief overview of the add-on –

• Seamlessly integrates Google Translate with CS-Cart, CS-Cart Multivendor, CS-Cart Multivendor Plus, and CS-Cart Multivendor Ultimate.
• Allows the administrator to enable the Google Language Translator for selected storefronts.
• Automatically detects the customer’s browser language and translates the storefront accordingly.
• Provides a zero-click auto-translation experience when browser-language-based translation is enabled.
• Allows administrators to place the Google Translate widget anywhere on the storefront using the CS-Cart Block Manager.
• Provides an option to use the widget through the standard fixed-position display instead of Block Manager placement.
• Allows administrators to hide the default CS-Cart language selector when Google Translate is active, preventing duplicate language selectors.
• Customers can translate the complete storefront into their preferred language.
• Provides an option to hide intrusive Google Translate elements such as the top translation banner and hover tooltips.
• Supports translation of storefront content such as posts, pages, categories, tags, menus, widgets, themes, and other supported content.

After downloading the CS-Cart Google Language Translator add-on, you’ll get one zip file, one install.txt file, and a relevant User Guide manual doc. Read it carefully for proper configuration.

Go to Manage Add-ons, and click on “Manual Installation” as shown below in the snapshot.

Click on “Local” to browse the zip file, and then click on “Upload & Install” as shown below in the snapshot.

After installing the add-on, you will find CS-Cart Google Language Translator in the list of available add-ons. We will then configure the settings.

Click on “settings” to enable, disable, install, or refresh.

Make sure the add-on is activated, as shown in the snapshot below.

To configure the module, go to the Add-Ons >> Developers >> Webkul Software Pvt Ltd. >> Google Language Translator >> Settings.

1. • Enable tab for Storefronts: Select the storefronts where Google Language Translator should be enabled.
   • Use Block Manager to Place Widget: Place the translator widget anywhere on the storefront using CS-Cart Block Manager.
   • Auto-translate Based on Browser Language: Automatically translate the storefront according to the customer’s browser language.
   • Hide CS-Cart Default Language Selector: Hide the native CS-Cart language selector when Google Translate is enabled.

Enable for Storefronts: Check this box to activate the Google Language Translator tab on your CS-Cart storefront, allowing visitors to translate site content.

Google Language Translator enhances your store’s accessibility by translating content into multiple languages.

It allows customers to browse and shop in their preferred language effortlessly.

The Google Language Translator block is available on the front end as shown –

The customers will click on the dropdown, it will show the language menu on the left side of the storefront.

From here, the customers can check all the listed languages in which they can translate the website.

They can change the language of the storefront from the drop-down according to their choice.

And, the customer will be having an option to roll back to the original language of the storefront as shown below –
