Do your sellers also have their Amazon stores? If so, here is the solution to enable them to sync their Amazon store products with your Shopify store.
Enable the Seller Amazon Store Connector feature app.
If your sellers have Amazon stores and wish to add products from their individual stores to the Admin Shopify Store.
You can utilize the Seller Amazon Store Connector featured app of the Multi-vendor Marketplace.
Features
- Sellers can sync their Amazon Store’s Products manually with the admin’s Store.
- Sellers can import their products via reports and create /update them on the marketplace in bulk.
How to Activate?
To activate the Amazon Connector feature app, first, you need to visit the Feature Apps section of the Multivendor App.
You will find the feature app named ‘Amazon Connector’ there
Now, upon clicking on the enable button, you will need to choose the plan that suits your requirements.
Please proceed to authorize the additional charge for this feature app. Once we approve it, we will seamlessly integrate the feature into the Multivendor app.
Product Sync Configuration
Sync the changes to the marketplace once the sellers make updates in their Amazon store.
For this, you need to visit the marketplace Admin panel >> configuration >> connector configuration
Here, you need to select the Amazon connector in the Choose Connector feature app
You can now choose the product details you wish the seller can manually sync from their Amazon seller central
Charge Tax on Product
From the Connector Configuration, you can choose how you want to charge taxes on products synced with the seller’s Amazon store.
You can choose to charge tax on products. You can choose whether to apply the tax rates from your Shopify store or from the seller’s Amazon store.
Also, You can choose “not to charge taxes” on the products.
Amazon Configuration: Seller end
The vendor now needs to configure the Amazon credentials on their seller panel.
They must visit the marketplace seller panel >> Configuration >> Amazon configuration for this.
Here, the sellers will need to enter the details in order to connect their Amazon seller central with the marketplace
The seller now needs to visit Amazon Seller Central to configure the following details.
They need to go to menu >> partner network>> develop Apps
Now click on the “+add new app client” and add the new app client and provide the required permissions
Once a new app client is added you will get the App Id and then you need to click on the Edit app
Here, you will get the Client identifier and the Client secret which you need to paste into the marketplace seller panel
Once the details are added, it will show like this
The other details that need to be configured here are –
Region: The region in which the Amazon marketplace of the seller is operational i.e Europe, North America or the Far East.
Marketplace: The country in which the Amazon marketplace of the seller is operational.
Weight unit of Amazon store: The unit of weight used in the seller’s Amazon store
Currency: The currency used in the seller’s Amazon store.
Amazon Reports
Once the seller has configured the Amazon details, they will have the option to view and import reports from Amazon.
Amazon provides reports and on the basis of their reports we can import the products from Amazon
To import reports from Amazon Seller Central, click on the Import Reports option
On clicking the import reports button, the seller will be redirected to the page where they can import the products on the basis of time duration.
Once the report is imported into the marketplace seller panel, the seller can view the reports by clicking on the “view reports” button
The seller will get the list of all the reports that they have imported from Amazon Seller Central here.
The seller can click on the three dots “…” for the selected report and click on the “view” option in order to view the products imported into that report
Click on the “create product” option to create the product into the marketplace seller and Admin panel.
You can also create them in bulk by selecting the products and clicking on the bulk action button.
Now, the product will be created in the Admin panel, where the Admin can enable them.
Product Update
Once the product is created in the marketplace panel, the sellers will then have an ” update” option.
Using this option the sellers can sync the changes made in the Amazon seller central to their marketplace manually.
Connector Price Rule & Currency Conversion
Seller will select the Seller Sync App from the drop-down menu for currency conversion & price rule:
CURRENCY CONVERSION
If the currency of your seller’s store is different from the currency you set on your marketplace, then, the sellers can specify their currency rate with respect to your currency rate.
Accordingly, your seller’s product price is calculated once a customer places an order
PRICE RULE
In the price rule menu, the seller can create a price rule to manage the price of the product on your Shopify store. The seller has to set the price rule:
- The seller has to enable or disable the price rule status to configure the settings.
- Select the price rule, either to increase or decrease.
- Select the Price change, either fixed or percentage.
Enter the amount of how much the sellers want to increase or decrease the price.
