PrestaShop Cashfree Payment Gateway | UPI | Wallet

Seamlessly integrate your PrestaShop with a secure and reliable Cashfree payment gateway to offer your customers a smooth checkout experience.

Cashfree has direct integrations with multiple banks which lets you offer a safe and fast payment gateway to customers.

Allows customers to make payment for their orders via credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI and wallet.

Note: PrestaShop Cashfree Payment Gateway module is compatible with PresaShop version 8.x.x.

• Accept secure online payments via credit card, debit card, UPI, wallets, and netbanking in your store with Cashfree Payment Gateway.
• View a list of transactions done via Cashfree under a separate tab in the back office.
• Test your setup before going into production by running the module in test mode.
• Support all major debit, credit, and prepaid card brands including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Rupay, Diner and Discover.
• Accept payments in more than 30 currencies.
• 3D secure feature to ensure prevention against payment fraud.
• Multistore compatible.

• Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

General Settings

Under General Settings, the admin:

• Can choose to use the module in live or test mode.
• Needs to specify the App ID and Secret key obtained from Cashfree account.

Active Payment Methods

Under this tab, the admin can choose payment methods that he wants to offer on PrestaShop store.

1. All the payment options are available by Cashfree on a subscription basis. You need to purchase plans suitable for your needs & requirement of your store.
2. By default, Cashfree provides transactions in INR only. To add more international currencies, contact their sales team.

Go to Cashfree website & sign in to your account with a registered email address.

Cashfree offers various services like payment gateway, collection of payments, marketplace payments etc.

Click on “Activate” button to activate various payment gateways for your account.

Now, you can click on “View Dashboard” to view account details.

View details of all the transactions of Cashfree on the dashboard.

Go on ‘credentials’ tab to access the test API credentials for payment gateways.

Click on ‘Get Credentials’ tab to access the sandbox credentials.

View app ID & secret key under ‘Test Credentials’ tab.

When a customer adds a product to the cart and proceeds to place an order, he can view Cashfree payment option on the checkout page.

On clicking the place order button, a customer gets redirected to the Cashfree payment gateway.

Here, a customer can view a list of available payment methods and choose the convenient option to make the payment.

Payment via UPI

Customers can scan the QR code using any of the UPI apps mentioned on the image and pay for their order.

Also, customer can enter UPI ID to make payment for the order.

Payment by Card

A customer can choose to pay via either credit or debit card. Enter card details and click on proceed to pay.

After entering the card details and clicking on proceed to pay, a customer needs to enter the OTP received on phone.

After entering OTP, payment for an order gets completed and customer will redirected to the PrestaShop store.

On the order confirmation page, a customer can view name of the payment method used for placing an order.

Payment by Wallet

Customer can also choose to pay via wallets for their order. Some of the available wallets to make payment are:

• PhonePe
• FreeCharge
• Airtel Money
• Mobikwik
• Ola Money
• Jio Money

Pay Using Netbanking

Select the name of the bank to proceed to the banks gateway page to make payment.

After the successful installation of the module, a new tab “Cashfree UPI Payments” gets available under Payment in the back office.

Under this tab, the admin can view a list of transactions done via Cashfree payment gateway.
