Offering certain benefits to the customer becoming hectic day by day? And, applying restrictions on the group even more difficult?
Then in such a case, Prestashop Multi-User Customer Account would surely help you to overcome such an obstacle.
Let’s understand this with an example;
You want to identify your customer on the basis of their (Let’s say) age or profession. So that you can accordingly provide certain benefits to them.
But, then you remember that customers are categorised into the following three groups only.
- Customer
- Visitor
- Guest
To avoid such a case, you can now create multiple groups as per your convenience. And, allow your customers to select one of the groups at the time of registration.
This will help you to bifurcate your customers under various groups. Not only this will save your time while offering benefits but while applying restrictions too.
Note: Prestashop Multi-User Customer Account module is compatible with multi-store feature of prestaShop.

is it possible to customize the module to use it in front end ?
My need is this :
Our customer are sorted in customer groups but the group must be selectable in the front end of the store by the customer itself 🙂
The idea behind this is to let the customer choose a group (the group corresponds to a delivery point) but the products are not available in every delivery location (customer group) and the user can choose himself to change the delivery location.
Could you give me an idea of the price to develop this extension for me starting from your module ?
Many thanks.
