Prestashop Marketplace Product 360 Degree View: Take your Prestashop store to the next level by adding 360 degree image rotation to the product pages. 360 degree view makes the product feel more real to the customers and gives them a chance to explore the product from all angles.

Prestashop Marketplace Product 360 degree view facilitates both admin and sellers to add a group of images to a product’s gallery.

360 degree spin allows the customers to view even the minute details of a product. Customers can play or stop the 360 degree view and turn the image side by side as well to get a clearer view of a product.

Showcasing 360 degree images attracts the attention of customers and makes them stay longer on the store. Showing customers every detail of a product helps them make a purchase decision faster and increase sales on the store.

• Admin can choose to display 360 degree view at product page footer, product page tab, or product page image thumbnail.
• Admin can customize the dimensions of a 360 degree view block.
• Spin speed with which images rotate in a 360 degree view can be managed by admin.
• Enable/Disable the full screen view of 360 degree view.
• The seller can preview the product 360 degree view after uploading the 360 degree images.
• After uploading the images, seller can also change the position of images by simply dragging them.
• Admin can also set 360 degree view for seller products.
• Admin can upload a customized 360 degree thumbnail image.
• A user can start/stop the 360 degree view and view each image in a 360 degree view by clicking on the left/right buttons.

NOTE:

1. PrestaShop Marketplace Product 360 Degree View module is Multi-Shop Compatible with PrestaShop Advanced Multi-Vendor Marketplace version 5.4.0/3.4.0 and above.
2. PrestaShop Marketplace Product 360 Degree View module is compatible with PrestaShop version 8.x.x.

For displaying 360 degree product view on product thumbnail in Prestashop version 1.6.x.x, the following 2 hooks need to be added in site theme’s product.tpl file:

1. {hook h=”displayThreesixtyViewThumbBigpic” product=$product}
2. {hook h=”displayThreesixtyViewThumbnail” product=$product}

But the product.tpl file may be vary according to client theme and client will need our assistance for adding these 2 hooks. In order to add these hooks please create a ticket at http://webkul.uvdesk.com.

For installing this module, you need to install Prestashop Advanced Multi Vendor Marketplace module first.

After installing the marketplace module you can start the installation of Prestashop Marketplace Product 360 Degree View.

1. Go to back office ->modules.
2. Upload the module zip file.
3. The module will automatically get installed on your Prestashop.

360 Configuration

Under configuration, admin can choose to display 360 degree view block at product page footer, product page tab, or product page image thumbnail. Admin can set the spin speed for image rotation and enable/disable full screen view of 360 degree images. Also, admin can choose to upload his own thumbnail image.

After the installation of the module, a new tab “360 VIEW” gets add on edit product page. From this tab, admin can add 360 view images for seller products as shown below:

A seller can set a 360 degree view of a product under the “360 View” tab of the Update Product page. Under this tab, a seller can add sequential images to create a 360 degree view of the product.

After uploading the product images, seller can also change its position with the help of position number mentioned below the image.

After uploading the images, the seller can see the preview of the 360 degree view by clicking on “PREVIEW 360 VIEW” button.

Seller can also change the position of the images by dragging them as show below:

A customer can see a 360 degree view of a product by clicking on the thumbnail image. Also, if enabled by admin from the back office then a customer can view 360 degree images in full screen.

A customer can start or stop the 360 degree view of a product by clicking on the play button.

If admin has disabled the 360 degree view in full screen then full screen symbol will not display on the 360° view block. Hence, the customer will not be able to see a 360 degree view of a product on a full screen.

Admin can also customize the dimensions of 360 degree view block.

If “Product Page Tab” is selected as display position, then 360 degree images will display alongside product details & description tabs.

NOTE

In Prestashop Marketplace Product 360 Degree View module version 1.6.x.x, we do not provide “Product Page Tab” option in the configuration as product page tab option does not exist in version 1.6.x.x. In Prestashop Version 1.6.x.x, the store admin can choose to display 360 degree view on product page footer and product page image thumbnail.
