Prestashop Who Bought This Also Bought

Prestashop Who Bought This Also Bought – The module helps you to display a slider of products which were ordered along with the main product. The slider generally consists of products which were bought with the main product by different customers.

It helps you to promote the products which are generally purchased along with other products. It will also help in increasing sales of both of the products.

Note: The module is multi-store compatible.

    Features

    • A product slider will display with the auto-scrolling property.
    • Set the height, width and the total number of products to display in the slider.
    • Enter the number of products to display in each scroll.
    • Choose to display all the products or only the products which are from the same category of the orders of the customer.
    • Admin can choose to display whether he wants to display all products or same category products from other orders of the same customers.
    • It also provides to set the order of products appearing in the slider i.e in sorting order(Highly Purchased Product Will Appear First) or in random order.
    • Admin can specify the title in multilanguage for the slider while configuring the module.
    • Admin can enable/disable the auto sliding feature of slider.

    Installation

    1. Go to Module Manager in Back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
    2. Now, Drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
    3. In this way, the module installation will be successful.

    Workflow

After successful installation of this module admin can configure the module.

Customize the display of product block from the configuration settings. Set the total number of products to display in the slider.

Admin can set the number of products to move in slider in one click. Set the display of products in sorted order or in random order.

Now, a slider at the product page will consist of products which were generally bought with the main product by different customers.

The slider at the product page will appear as shown in the screenshot below.

In case, admin selects the ‘same category’ of products to display in the slider.

Then, block will show products which were bought together with the main product & have the same category.

    Cases

The display of products in slider varies on multiple grounds. There are two options in slider on which the display of products is primarily dependent. Those two options are

    Criteria to display purchased products

    • All products: In this case, all the products bought by customer (irrespective of their category) will display in the slider.
    • Same Category: The products having category same as the main product from previous orders of customer will display in slider.

    Case 1

Let’s suppose a customer created multiple orders with the following products.

Order 1: Mobile, Charger & Earphone

Order 2: USB cable & Cloth hanger

In case, the criteria to display product is selected on the basis of the same category.

Then, the slider will display Mobile, charger, earphone & USB cable. As the last products belong to a different category.

In another instance, if criteria to display product is selected to “All Products“.

Then, the slider will display Mobile, Charger, Earphone, USB cable & Cloth hanger.

    Case 2

In this case, the previous two orders are same as illustrated in case 1. we will also consider another order placed by customer say order 3.

    Order 3: Jeans, Shoes, Shirt

    1) If the admin has enabled to show products from other orders of the same customer(see option in configuration settings). Criteria to show product is selected to “All products“.

Then, the slider will display Mobile, Charger, Earphone, USB cable, Cloth hanger, Jeans, Shoes & Shirt.

    2) If the admin has disabled to show products from other orders of the same customer. Criteria to show product is still selected to “All products“.

Then, the slider will display Mobile, Charger, Earphone, USB cable & Cloth hanger.

    3) If the admin has enabled to show products from other orders of the same customer. Criteria to show product is selected to “Same Category“.

Then, the slider will display Mobile, Charger, Earphone & USB cable

    4) If the admin has disabled to show products from other orders of the same customer. Criteria to show product is selected to “Same Category“.

Then the products from ‘Order 1‘ & ‘Order 2‘ with same category will be shown in the slider.

In this way, a slider of products which are bought together with the main product can easily be displayed on the product page.
