Opencart UPS Shipping Management module allows the customers to use UPS as their preferred shipping process. UPS (United Parcel Service) is the world’s largest package distribution company and a supplier of supply chain management solutions.

Features of Opencart UPS Shipping Management
- Enable or disable the status of Method UPS Shipping.
- This shipping method has a custom name that will appear on the front-end.
- Set the request form for packages.
- Select the container type and its size.
- The package’s average dimensions can be set.
- Set various classes of weights.
- The administrator has the option to add a rule for the tax class.
- Real-time shipping rate calculation via UPS API.
- Select different services for domestic and international shipping.
Installation of Opencart UPS Shipping Management
To install this add-on please follow each and every step carefully. First, you need to upload both admin and catalog folders into the open-cart root folder directory as shown in below screenshot.
After copying both folders, log in to your Admin account in open cart and click the Extensions menu option as shown below.
This is the Extensions settings page here you can find all list of Opencart extensions. Here you have to go to the drop-down menu and select the Shipping option as shown in the below screenshot.
After selecting a Shipping menu option, a new page will appear where you will find all the list of shipping extensions, you will find Webkul UPS Shipping extension in the list click the Install button as shown in the below screenshot.

Module Configuration Opencart UPS Shipping Management
After that, click the Edit button to make changes to this extension after successfully installing Webkul UPS Shipping.
Also, you will arrive at the Webkul UPS Shipping configuration page after clicking the Edit button. Here, the administrator must provide all the appropriate information as follows:
Method Name – The title will appear on the front-end during the checkout process for the customers on the website.
Access Key – Enter the UPS-specified XML Rates Access Key.
Username – Enter your UPS services account username
Password – Enter your UPS services account password.
Pickup Method – Use the drop-down menu option to choose any of the methods for UPS pickup. This choice is available for shipments originating in the US only.
Package Type – Select the type of package you want to use.
Customer Classification Code – Select any one from the following options:
01-If your bill and have a regular UPS pickup to a UPS account.
03-If you bill or don’t have a UPS account with a UPS account and don’t have a regular UPS pickup.
04-If a retail store ships from you (US origin only).
Admin Store Origin Details
Shipping Origin Code – Selecting which point of origin should be used (this setting affects only what UPS product names are shown to the user)
Origin City – Enter the name of your origin city.
State/Province – Enter two-letter code for your origin state or province.
Country – Enter the two-letter code for your origin country.
Zip/Postal Code – Enter your origin zip/postal code.
Test Mode – Click Yes to enable test mode or NO to make this module live.
Quote Type – Select quote for Residential or Commercial delivery.
Services – Use the checkbox to pick which UPS shipping services are to be provided on the front end.
Enable Insurance – Select either Yes or No Use Insurance. However, the UPS is responsible for any loss or injury, at no additional expense, for up to $100.00 per domestic box, foreign shipment, or pallet, if it is Yes.
Display Delivery Weight – Select Yes or No to display shipping weight on the front-end to buyers or not.
Weight – Enter the product weight for this shipping method.
Length Class – Select the default weight unit for this shipping method.
Tax Class – Select any tax class rule for this shipping method.
Dimensions (L x W x H) – Enter the dimensions of the products for this shipping method.
Geo Zone – For this shipping process, select any of the geographic zones from the drop-down menu.
Status – Set Enabled to provide purchasers with this shipping form, or select Disabled to eliminate this option during the checkout process.
Sort – Set the order view of this shipping method using numeric value, (0 – being the top).
Debug Mode – Set this to Enabled to allow to receive error reports and logs.
Don’t forget to click the Save button on the top right of the page.
Afterwards, the UPS shipping form will appear on the Front-End during the process of checkout.
Customer Front-End View
The Delivery Method option appears in the checkout phase after entering the delivery details, where the purchaser selects UPS Shipping (UPS 3 Day Select).
Also, the buyer may use the radio button to select any of the available shipping services, as shown below in the screenshot. However, custom shipping directions or notes for the commodity may also be added by the customer.
In addition, you can see your UPS shipping service name and its price on the Confirm Order page after choosing the shipping and payment form, as shown in the below screenshot.
The customer will access their order details after placing the order in My Accounts > Order History.
But this page will show you all the orders that the buyer has put so far, by clicking the View button as shown in the screenshot below.
The order information page will show all the details about your particular order after clicking the Order View button.
