Opencart Marketplace Payment Restriction By Product

Customers will get a zip folder for installing the module. They will unzip this folder on their system then choose their version according to the Opencart version that you want to install.

This zip folder has 4 folders named with 4 different versions of Opencart – Opencart Version 2.1.x.x, 2.2.x.x., 2.3.x.x, and 3.x.x.x  Customer can choose their preferred version for installation.

For example:

1. If the customer wants to install the Opencart Version 2.3.x.x, there are four folders inside this folder version 2.3.x.x namely- admin, catalog, ocmod & theme patch.
2. To install this module version first, you need to transfer the admin & catalog folders into the Opencart root folder on the server.
3. Similarly, if you are installing the Opencart version 3.x.x.x then there are 5 folders inside it and that is – admin, catalog, image, system, and theme patch.
4. Here, the admin will have to transfer the admin, catalog, image, and the system folders into the Opencart root folder on the server.

After transferring the folders, use the extension installer to install the XML files which is situated inside the ocmod folder. For Opencart Version v2.3.x.x, 2.2.x.x, 2.1.x.x use product_payrestriction.ocmod.xml file.

Similarly, for Opencart Version 3.x.x.x use product_payrestriction.ocmod.zip

Admin will now install the module by navigating through Extension->Modules->webkul Seller Payment Restriction and install the module.

To display the menu item “Allowed Payment Method” on the Add New Product Page menu we need to do catalog module configuration.

In order to configure module navigate through Extensions->Modules-> Webkul Payment Restriction Module-> and click on the edit button.

Here, the Admin will enable the module & will set the allowed payment options to be used for the products and click save to save the settings.

Also, the Admin will be able to set per product restriction for seller product by going to Catalog-> Products. Then admin will select the edit option next to the product.

Now admin will go to the menu item “Allowed Payment Method” and select the payment methods that need to set for the product. After that click on save.

Admin can also create new product/s and set the allowed payment methods for the product/s. The first admin will create a new product.

Then he will go to the menu item “Allowed Payment Methods” and select the payment methods he wants to set for the new product and click save to save the settings.

Sellers will be able to set payment restrictions for their products. Although the payment methods that the sellers can use are set by the admin.

The sellers can go to their product list and select the product/s for which they want to set the payment method restriction by selecting the edit button next to the product/s.

Now seller will set the payment methods that should be used with the product then click save after that.

The Sellers can also set payment restrictions for their newly created products. Also, Seller will add a new product and then set the payment methods to be used.

When buyers will add products to the cart then go for the checkout. If the buyer has selected 2, or more products then common payment methods between all products will display on the checkout page.

Also, the buyer can select that payment method and proceed with payment to complete his order as shown below.

If the buyer has added products in the cart & some of which are having the payment restriction then the user will get an error message as per the screenshot.
