OpenCart Product 360 View

The OpenCart Product 360 View module helps to show your customers a complete 360-degree view of every side of a product. It allows your customers to view products in a more magnificently and attractively way.

By adding multiple images in a proper sequence, the admin can set up a 360 view of a product. Moreover, the module also helps to show a panorama view of your store product.

The admin can establish a 360-degree view of a product. This extension provides a full view of the product from every possible angle which also enriches the product look.

Check the plugin at work at the storefront and the configuration settings –

 

• The admin can enable/disable the 360-degree view of the product.
• The admin can upload a thumbnail image that will be visible on the product view page front end.
• The admin can also set the 360 Frame Time for rotation of the image in milliseconds.
• The admin can add or delete the images uploaded to set up the 360-degree product view.
• With a 360-degree product view, a customer can view every side of a product in a 360-degree rotating view.
• The admin can also set up a panorama view of the product by uploading a 360 panorama image.

Upload Files

First, extract the downloaded zip file. After that, open the correct Opencart Version Folder. According to Opencart Version installed in your system.

Then, upload the admin, catalog, to the OpenCart root directory.

Once you have uploaded the file then login to admin and go to Extensions>Installer and upload the .zip file- productview360.ocmod.zip. The zip file can be found in the ocmod folder.

After uploading the zip file go to the Extensions > Modification and click on the refresh field.

Edit User Groups

After that, go to System > Users > Usergroups. And then edit ‘Administrator’. Select the shown checkboxes only for both Access Permission and Modify Permission and Save it.

Install

Now navigate to Extensions > Extensions > Modules. Find Product View 360 from the list. Click the Install button as visible in the screenshot below.

Further, by clicking on the edit button, the below page will open up.

After the successful installation of the extension OpenCart Product 360 View. To configure the extension. Firstly, in the sidebar menu go to Extensions > Extensions > Modules.

Further, click on the edit button next to Product View 360.

Further, tapping the edit button brings up the module configuration settings page. Here, the admin can see below settings options.

Status: The admin can enable/disable 360 product image view for all products.

Stores: The admin can select the required store view for which the module feature needs to be enabled.

360 Frame Time: The admin can also set the 360 Frame Time for rotation of the image in milliseconds.

Default Thumbnail: The admin can upload a thumbnail image that will be visible on the product view page front end.

The admin needs to go to the Catalog > Products under Edit product click the Image section. There are two options:

• 360 Panorama Image.
• 360 Images

The admin needs to upload product images for both the above types. Further, the admin can click the check box of one of the types of view that the admin wants to be visible over the front end in the section Display in the front end.

The customer can simply go to the product view page on the front end.

Further, to view a complete 360-degree view of the product the customer can click on the 360-degree view icon.

The customer can click on the rightward and leftwards marked arrow to rotate the image accordingly.

Similarly, the customer can view the panorama view of a product as shown below.
