INTRODUCTION

Associate your Product with Product Tags Easily with Odoo Website Product Tags!

Product Tags are used to find the correct products in the online store. It helps you to identify your product when some products are similar in many ways product tags are used to identify those products.

Product tags are essential for every online store. Keeping this in mind Webkul comes up with the module ‘Odoo Website Product Tags’. This module helps you to manage the tags for the products.

Odoo Website Product Tags allows you to add tags to the product. Admin can associate multiple products to a single tag and also add multiple tags to a single product. This bi-lateral configuration makes it different from others and very useful.

The module helps you to manage the number of products and product tags simultaneously. Admin can Enable/Disable product tags directly from the website.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_product_tags’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo Apps and then, click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and then, search ‘website_product_tags’.
7. As a result, you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

CONFIGURATION (ODOO BACKEND)

1. Go to the ‘Setting> Webkul Website Addons’ and tick the checkbox next to ‘Website: Product Tags’.
2. Now, click on the Configuration button very next to the check box of ‘Website Product Tags’.

3. Put the Tag Limit here, which will be displayed on the website, and then click on the Apply button.

4. Now, click on the ‘Tags’ tab under the ‘Configuration’ menu. To create a new tag click on the ‘Create’ button.

5. Add Tag Name, tick the checkbox next to Available in the website, if you want the tag to be available on Odoo Website.
6. Admin can associate the product with the created tag simply by adding the product by clicking on the ‘Add a Line’ button.

7. Now, go to the ‘Products’ under the ‘Products’ menu. Here, under the General Information menu add multiple product tags to a single product.

8. Allowed tags will be visible on the shop page with the defined font style under popular tags. Customers can check all the tags by clicking on view all tags.
