The module mainly allows you to offer discounts to the verified students on their purchase. The discounts compel students to buy products from your website. As a result, it also enables you to sell more products and make good profits.

Students can simply add their ISIC card numbers to avail the exciting discounts. As the ISIC cards are accepted internationally, these ID cards grant them access to a diverse selection of benefits around the world. You can add the coupon program for particular products and set it as per your wish.

FEATURES

The module allows offering students with good discounts on your Odoo website.
You can check the applicability of bonafide students via ISIC number.
The discount offered by you can be set either in percent type or fixed type as per your wish.
You have the authority to set the duration of the validity for the ISIC coupon.
You can even set the minimum no. of purchased products to get applicable for the coupon.
Admin can set whether you want to apply a discount on Order, on a specific product or cheapest product
You can add a Maximum discount limit or zero limits on discount accordingly.
Odoo ISIC Coupon module is compatible with multi-websites.
Customers can simply add the ISIC number to apply the coupon.
You can make different programs with different discount settings and can use them as per the need.

INSTALLATION

Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_isic_discount’.
Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL as well.
Now, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_isic_discount’.
You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Once the installation is finished, visit the backend of the Odoo Website app.
Follow the path Configuration >> Websites.

Here, you will see the list of websites you own. Click on the ‘Create‘ button to create a new website.

Fill all the relevant details like Website name, website domain, Company, default language, etc.
Tick the square box besides the ISIC discount option as shown below. You will be able to fill details related to ISIC discounts.

Create a ‘Program‘ for creating an ISIC discount.

Fill all the relevant details like Program Name, Quantity, Minimum Purchase, etc. accordingly, and save it.

Customer’s Interface

Visit the Odoo website frontend and click on ‘Shop‘ button.

You will see the list of products. Select the product you wish to buy and add it to the cart.

At the time of checkout process, you will see the option to ‘Apply Student Discount‘ option.

Click on that option. Fill the Card Number and Card Holder Name in case of you select Card Number option else, fill the RFID Chip Number. The system will validate and coupons will be applied.
