Configuration

Firstly admin needs to set the Google API key for this you need to go to Settings>>General settings>>Website>>Enable the Google Maps field and place the API key over there. In case you don’t have the API key you can create a google project by the given link and get a key.

Manage the Marketplace hyperlocal settings from Seller Dashboard>>Settings>>Marketplace>>Hyperlocal settings. Under this tab, you need to enable Hyperlocal field to use the hyperlocal feature. Set the delivery method as hyperlocal. Define the default address that will be displayed on the website. And determine the Distance that will be calculated while detecting location. Admin needs to set default radius unit to select seller’s area.

Admin view

Admin has the feasibility to create, update and delete the seller shipping address. From the menu Shipping Area, admin can check and edit as seller’s shipping address.

Admin can define the Ship Area for the seller. Here admin can set the shipping area address, latitude, and longitude. This will be the address where a seller’s shipping will be available.

Admin can also decide the shipping rate for a seller according to the distance and weight shipping cost can be calculated.

Under the tab ship rate, Admin can set and edit the shipping cost for a seller according to the distance and weight.

Not only manually but with the help of this module, admin can import a seller ship rate CSV file.

Seller view

The same way as an admin can create shipping area. A seller can also create his own shipping areas from the tab shipping area.

A seller can also create or import his shipping rates that will be applicable to his products.

A seller can also download sample CSV file. When a new seller will click on seller ship rate menu he will get a link to download the sample CSV file.

The steps to import shipping rate via CSV is displayed for a new seller which will help the seller to import shipping rates too easily.

Website view

A website visitor can select his location on the top-left side of the shop page. By default, the location defined in the default setting will be displayed here.

While changing location a warning will be displayed “That on location address change cart will be empty”. As soon as the customer will change the location his cart will show the number of product 0.

As per the selected location, the product available in that area will be displayed for the customer on the website.

In case none of the seller’s product is available in a defined location then a message of No product defined will be displayed on the website.

Buyer needs to fill the same address as selected on the website on the billing and shipping address. If a buyer will define different location then a warning message will be displayed on the address page.

While Choosing a delivery method the buyer needs to select hyperlocal delivery method and the defined shipping rate will be added to the order.

The defined shipping rate will be calculated and applied to the order.
