User Guide for Odoo Portal Job Applications

INTRODUCTION

Odoo Portal Job Applications portal job applications allow applicants to check the status of their application on the Odoo job portal website.

It also enables applicants to track their application progress, receive mail updates and notifications, and stay informed with regular updates.

Odoo job portal is user-friendly and the recruiter generates mail updates and notifications to both new and existing applicants.

• Odoo portal job applications provide each applicant with access.
• It assigns a unique application number for each job applicant. 
• Applicants can apply for job openings in multiple domains.
• Odoo portal job applications include an application tracking system.
• It generates a personal account dashboard for each applicant.
• It provides job application status updates for each applicant
• A Recruiter can generate and send mail notifications to applicants
• It also allows applicants to track their application progress.

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘job_application_status’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click ‘‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘job_application_status’
7. The module will appear in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

1. Once the Admin accesses the dashboard, they will see the different job openings available.
   Dashboard > Recruitment > All

2. Admin can view and access all the applications at their end in the portal 
Recruitment > Applications > All Applications

3. Recruiter and Admin can create new applicants and enables sending a mail & notifications to candidates
New > Applicants > Register information > Send mail

4. Applicants progress through different stages from the initial stage to the final stage.
New > Initial > First > Second > last

5. Applicants can see their account details under my account sections
Website > My account > Applicant account profile 

6. Applicants will navigate under my account to reach the job applications section
 My account > Job Applications > Applicants dashboard

7. Recruiters & Applicants can both send and receive messages & communications, download & vice-versa
My account > Messages & Communication history > Send

8. After navigating to their account applicants can search for their job application status:
Check application status > Application number > Search

9. Applicants will find the details of their job application status after stages from new to last interview:
