After buying this app from our Webkul store you will get the link for downloading the zip file. Download it and extract on your system. You will see the ‘google_custom_search’ folder. Just copy this app folder inside your Odoo addons path.

Once done, follow these steps:
1.) Go to settings menu and click on Activate the Developer Mode.
2.) Now go to apps menu and Click on ‘Update Modules List’.
3.) Remove the app’s filter and search for the google_custom_search key.
4.) Now you will be able to see the module then simply install it.

Once installed, you will be able to utilize the module’s functionalities as described in succeeding section.

Let us go through the workflow of the module-

1.) Open the homepage of the website. Here, you will be able to see a new search bar on the top right corner. This is the Google custom search bar.

2.) Type the name of the product you are looking for and hit enter to search the website.

3.) All the relevant results available on the website shows up on the page instantly.

4.) Click on any product to open it on the website.

5.) Add the product to the cart and proceed with the ordering process to complete the purchase.

6.) Moving on, click on the ‘website’ app. Then, click on the ‘Google Custome Search’ tab under ‘settings’ submenu.

7.) You can manage the module’s settings here. Tick/untick ‘Enable Custom Search Engine’ to enable/disable the Google search function on your website.

8.) Enable sorting option for the results to filter results according to relevance or date.
