INSTALLATION

  1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘‘wk_enforce_2fa
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
  5. Then, open the Apps menu and click ‘Update Modules List.
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘wk_enforce_2fa.’
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Authenticator App Setup

  1. Install an authenticator app on your mobile device
  2. Popular ones include Authy, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator. Look for an “Add an account” button
  3. When requested to do so, scan the QR Code.

2FA Authentication On logging in 

  1. After installation, log in to your odoo instance.

  1. On logging in a QR code pops up will appear. Scan the QR Code with your phone.

  1. On your phone, you will get a passcode

  1. Enter the passcode and you will be able to log into your account
