INTRODUCTION

Odoo Advance Pickings Import: Bulk Import of Pickings in Odoo!! 

Advance Pickings Import enables the import of the list of pickings to Odoo with CSV and xlsx files. It supports multi-warehouses and tracks pickings of the products having traceability enabled. 

To move stocks within or across warehouses, use the “Advance Pickings Import” module to transfer them in bulk via CSV or xlsx files. This process is time-saving and efficient as well. 

You can easily do receipt transfer entries in bulk. All the pickings of the transfer entry will be imported and viewed under the operations section.

FEATURES

1. You can import pickings in bulk using the CSV file

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘advance_pickings_import(you can get technical nem from the odoo app of the respective module)’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘advance_pickings_import’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1. Install the “Odoo Advance Pickings Import” app in your odoo.

2. Navigate to inventory module >> Operations >> Import pickings

3. Download the sample file format in which you have to upload your pickings.

4. Select the Operation type within which the picking will be shown

5. Select the Product data field whose data you will append to the product column in the file. 

6. Choose the file type you are going to upload.

7. Enable lot/serial number in case you have the product traceability enabled in the product template.

8. Select the source and the destination location from the drop-down menu. These locations can be from the same warehouse or different locations.

9. Upload the file
