    Marketplace Request for Leads Quote

    Request for Leads Quote is a magento marketplace add-on which allows the customer to send a request for quote to the sellers. If a product does not exist in the marketplace, the customer can still send a request for quote to the sellers. The admin can set the minimum allowed quantity for the request for quote. The admin has an option to manage all the quote requests before sending them to the sellers.

    Please Note – Since this is a marketplace add-on, you need to install Magento Marketplace Multi-Vendor Module first.

    features of Request for Leads Quote

    • Only registered user can send a request for quote to the sellers by navigating to Request for Quote page.
    • The customer can send the request for quote for any product available in the marketplace.
    • The customer can even send the request for quote to the sellers if a product does not exist in the marketplace.
    • When a customer sends a request for quote, notification emails will be sent to every seller of the marketplace.
    • The customer and the sellers can communicate about the requested quote from their dashboard.
    • The customer and the sellers can attach any sample images with their messages if required.
    • All the requested quotes will be categorised according to their statuses i.e.- Open, Pending, Answered, Resolved, Closed.
    • The admin can set the minimum allowed quantity for sending any request for quote.
    • The admin has an option to either manage all the requests before sending them to the sellers or sending them directly to all the sellers.

    Installation of the module is very simple. Please move the app and skin folder into magento root directory.

    After moving both the folder flush the cache from magento admin module. Under System > Cache management.

    After the module installation, the user will unzip the folder and click on src folder. Inside that folder, you will find app folder. Click on the app folder and you will get locale and inside that, you will find the language folder in the English language as en_US. Now follow the same path and open the locale folder where you have installed the Magento Marketplace and go inside the locale folder and create a new folder and name with the language for which you want to convert your module content. Now edit the translate.csv and then upload to your server inside the locale folder.

    Before uploading the CSV file, open and edit it with the translated keywords.

    After successfully installing this marketplace add-on, the admin needs to navigate through  System > Configuration > Request For Quote. Here the admin has to do the configuration of this module. Please refer to the screenshot below:

    Request for Quote Approval Required – Select Yes option if admin’s approval is required for sending a request for quote. Select No, if you want to send the request for quote directly to the sellers.

    Minimum Quantity for ‘Request for Quote’ – Enter the minimum allowed quantity of a product for sending the request for quote by the customer.

    Click Save Config button to save your changes.

    Manage Requested Quotes-Admin

    To manage the requested quotes sent by the customers, please navigate to Marketplace Management > Manage Requested Quotes. The admin can use the filter option to search any specific request for quote. To send the request for quote to the sellers, please select the request using the checkbox option and then go to Actions drop-down menu and select the Send Quote to Sellers option.

    Click Submit button to send the request for quote to all the sellers. Please refer to the screenshot below:

    The registered users of the website can request for quote to the sellers by simply clicking on the REQUEST FOR QUOTE button on the product page. Please refer to the screenshot below.

     

    After clicking the REQUEST FOR QUOTE button on the product page, you will see a new page. This is the Request for Quote page, here the customer can check the information about the product. The customer can enter the required quantity that it wants. Any additional information can also be entered by the customer in the description. A customer can also attach any images if required.

    Click REQUEST FOR QUOTE button to send this request. A successful notification message will appear on the screen.

    Please view the below screenshot, it shows that the customer’s message was sent successfully.

    Non-Marketplace Product Request for Quote

    If a customer wants to send a request for quote to the sellers and the product is not there on the website it can do so by navigating to ACCOUNT  > Request for Quote. A new page will open, here the customer can enter the details about the product. The customer has to enter the required quantity of the product, it can also upload any sample images. Please refer from the below screenshot:

    Click REQUEST FOR QUOTE button to send this request. A notification will appear after sending the message successfully.

    Customer Requested Quotes

    The customer can view its requested quotes by navigating to ACCOUNT > MY ACCOUNT > MY REQUESTED QUOTES. On this page, the customer can view the information about all its requested quotes sent to the sellers. It can also find any specific request using the search option. To view more detailed information about the request, click View. To see the quote given by the sellers, click QUOTE BY SELLER link. Please refer from the screenshot below:

    After clicking the View link, the customer will see the detailed information about its requested quote. It will show the number of sellers who have received your request. Please see the below screenshot:

    To view the quotes given by the sellers please navigate to ACCOUNT > MY ACCOUNT > MY REQUESTED QUOTES and click QUOTE BY SELLER link for any one product. A new page will open, here all the customer’s requests will be categorised according to their statuses which are as follows: Please refer from the screenshot below:

    Open – These are the requests where the seller has sent a message and waiting for the customer’s reply.

    Pending – These are the requests which have never been seen and replied by any of the sellers.

    Answered – These are the requests where the customer has replied to the sellers and waiting for their reply.

    Resolved – Theses are the requests where the customer has accepted the quotes given by the seller.

    Closed – These are the requests which have been closed for the sellers.

    To view the sellers quote navigate to ACCOUNT > MY ACCOUNT > MY REQUESTED QUOTES and then click Answered tab and click VIEW link. A new page will open, here the customer can see the quote given by the seller. The customer can enter a reply and send it to the seller, click SEND MESSAGE button. If the customer wants to accept the seller’s quoted price and quantity, tick the checkbox as shown below:

    If the customer accepts the quote given by the seller,  the status of the request changes to Resolved, please view  below screenshot:

    After logging into the seller account, it can view the requested quotes given by the customers by navigating to ACCOUNT > MY ACCOUNT > ALL REQUESTED QUOTES under Marketplace section. To search any specific request for quote use the search option. Here all the customers’ requests will be categorised according to their statuses as follows:

    Open – These are the requests where the customers are waiting for the seller’s reply.

    Pending – These are the requests which have never been seen and replied by the seller.

    Answered – These are the requests where the seller has replied to the customer and waiting for the customer’s reply.

    Resolved – Theses are the requests where the customers have accepted the quotes given by the seller.

    Closed – These are the requests which have been resolved by the different seller and closed for this seller.

    View Request for Quote

    To view pending requests for quotes go to Pending tab and click VIEW link under ACTION. A new page will open, where the seller can view the specific request for quote. The seller has to enter the Bulk Quoted Quantity and the Quoted Price, a message can be entered in the box. You can also attach images to your message.  Click SEND MESSAGE button to send this quote to the customer.

    After sending the quotation to the customer, the seller will get a notification message on top. Please view the below screenshot:

    When a customer accepts and approves the quote given by the seller, the request status changes to Resolved. To view the quotes that are approved by the customers navigate through ALL REQUESTED QUOTES > Resolved tab > click VIEW link. Please refer from the screenshot below:
