Magento 2 Email Marketing

Magento 2 Email Marketing module allows the admin to manage email templates. The admin can create and manage Email Templates, Customer Tags, Audiences, and Campaigns depending on the need of the business.

The subscribers will receive Emails. The admin can create multiple templates for Email Marketing and can send them to the customers.

The admin can even create campaigns for sending emails to the subscribers.

#1 Download Module

Firstly, you need to log in to Webkul Store, go to My Account>My Purchased Products section, verify and then download and extract the contents of this zip folder on the system.

#2 Upload Folder

Once the module zip is extracted, follow path src>app and then copy the app folder into the Adobe Commerce Cloud root directory on the server as shown below:

#3 Run Commands

After uploading the module folder, you need to run the following commands in the Magento 2 root directory:

• php bin/magento setup:upgrade
• php bin/magento setup:di:compile
• php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
• php bin/magento indexer:reindex
• php bin/magento cache:flush

Now to configure the module setting, the admin will go to Stores-> Configuration-> Email Marketing.

Sender Name- Here, the admin will write the name which they want to use in Marketing Emails.

Sender Email- The admin will write the email id for Marketing Emails.

Then, the admin can navigate to the Email Marketing tab from the left menu bar.

Here, the admin can create and edit Email Templates.

The admin can create New Template by clicking on the New Template button.

Further, the admin can set Template-

• Status- Here, the admin can set the email template status as enable/ disable.
• Name- The admin will write the name which they want to give to the template.
• Subject- Subject for the template will be mentioned over here by the admin.
• Type- The admin can use template type as HTML/ Text.
• Content- Here, the admin will mention the message which they want to deliver via email.
• style- The admin can add style to the template.

Afterwards, the admin will click on the Save Template button to save the template.

The admin will navigate through Email Marketing-> Customer Tag

Here, the admin can manage existing customer tags and can create new by clicking on Add new Customer Tag.

Tag Label- The admin can write a tag label.

After that, the admin will click on the Save Customer tag.

The admin will navigate through Email Marketing-> Audience.

Here, we can see the customer who subscribes to Emails.

The admin can edit the details of the customer by clicking on the Edit button under the Action tab.

Here the admin can check Newsletter information such as

• Subscribed to Newsletter
• Subscribed on store view
• Last Date Subscribed
• Email Marketing Tags

The admin will navigate from Email Marketing-> Campaign from the left menu bar.

The admin can create New campaign by clicking on Add new Campaign.

• Campaign Status- The admin can make status as Yes/ No through the radio button.
• Campaign Name- The admin can write the campaign name.
• Template- The admin can select the template from the dropdown.
• Campaign Subject- Here the admin can write the subject as per the choice.

Target Audience- Here the admin can choose store views, customer group, and as well as tags as per the choice.

Schedule- The admin can schedule the campaign.

Frequency– The admin can set the frequency of customers for which the cron will work in the scheduled time period.
