To optimize claims and helpdesk support process, we have introduce an usability module . For example, In case of claims doesn’t not exists for any customer and if you wants to create Lead or HelpDesk Support for the same customer, you can do this by click on single conversion button. similarly in case of helpdesk and support. All these integration added in “Lead-Claim-HelpDesk Integration” module.
“Lead-Claim-HelpDesk Integration” module, allows you to convert claims to lead or helpdesk, and conversion from helpdesk to lead or claims.
Lead-Claim-HelpDesk Integration module depends on openerp CRM, HelpDesk, and Claims Management modules. You need to install it before you can use this Lead-Claim-HelpDesk Integration module. After installation you will get conversion buttons in claims and helpdesk support.

Working Process:
This module need to install only at Openerp side, you just need to copy “crm_lchd_integration” directory to your OpenERP addons and install it on your Openerp only.
Openerp admin, Sales->After-sales service->Claims, Define a new claims, if you wants to convert claims either in helpdesk and support or lead, click on conversion button, As you can see in following screen shots.
If conversion done for lead, In openerp admin, Sales->Leads you will get converted claims into lead along with all claims messages and lead messages. Like to the following screen shots.
If conversion done for helpdesk and support, In openerp admin, Sales->After-sales service->HelpDesk and Supports, you will get converted claims into helpdesk and support along with all claims messages and helpdesk and support messages. Like to the following screen shots.

Related Customer :
- Link to an existing customer : convert lead to helpdesk and support for existing customer.
- Create new customer : First create customer then link this customer to convert helpdesk and support.
- Do not link to a customer : while conversion to helpdesk and support, will not link with any customer.
